Alcohol: Because no great story ever started with someone eating a salad.

Am I getting older or is this place louder? Granted, we stopped in during their holiday pop-up, Sippin' Santa, and we were seated in their side room but this place was loud. I found myself screaming to be heard by those seated across from me but hey, that's the holidays, babe.

I ordered a Choquito ($17.50 - Jamaican & Puerto Rican rums, lime, coconut, creme de cacao, and mole bitters) but also stole sips of my friend's A Snowball's Chance in Hilo ($30 - Caribbean rums, lime, pineapple, orange, nutmeg & cinnamon syrups, and tiki bitters) and also some Merry Spritzmas ($17.50 - Prosecco, aperol, tawny port, Cognac, lemon, falernum, fig preserves, and cardamom bitters. All the drinks were boozy and served in cute festive glasses that are available for purchase. To snack, we got some Hurricane Popcorn. The food here is good from what I remember and if we didn't have food at another holiday pop-up we went to, I would have gladly ordered more.

This place is still great. I still would recommend Bitter & Twisted Cocktail Parlour to all!

I’ve been wanting to come to this location for a minute now and I was super excited for like the Christmas theme however, I don’t understand why you have to pay a charge just to reserve plus tax when you’re already spending your money there!! to top it off the drinks were good, but our server was terrible! Never coming back

Everything from cocktails to food to service is not worth spending money on. Sippin’ Santa is a hype that serves premade sugared water in kitschy mugs.

Also note, being booked for weeks and having customers join the waitlist is a marketing gimmick. They only want you to think they are busy. At 11pm on a Saturday night, the place was not only half empty but it also got us 2 hours to get through the waitlist?

Someone make it make sense please!

Update: The mediocre service is well reflected in the response from the team at Bitter and Twisted.

Wait is unbelievably too long, plus a glitch in their system. But their manager helped with this and moved us to the bar after the security guard let us in. Also got free shots and an app. Just pay for the reservation.

Overrated. I don't get it. Two drinks and cheese bread appetizer $61.00. The management would not allow us to sit at the bar even though there was alot of empty seats. Decorations no biggie.

If you are looking for good service and a nice dining experience, DO NOT waste your time here. First impressions are obviously not a priority for this business. The door guy was rude, indifferent, and did not seem to care that paying customers were asking a question.

Once inside, we were excited to enjoy the ambiance with their gorgeous Christmas decorations. But we were seated outside on a bar stool facing a wall. When asked about better placement or to move down so we weren’t nose to nose with a wall, our server was rude and indifferent and advised that the other seats were taken. Either way, no one sat there while we were there. On top of the service being terrible, their menu is no longer full of fun, tasteful items.

So if you are considering this location for a night out, please take my advice and reconsider. This is not the same welcoming, fun, energetic restaurant that they used to be.

Came with a large party. Server was doing her best to take drink orders as well arrived. Took some food orders. Then cleared the menus before everyone had ordered. Stopped her and took the menus back, then ordered 2 apps and a burger and a second drink.

The apps came out pretty quickly. They were good. The bread and truffle butter and the popcorn. My burger and second cocktail never arrived. Asked the server and she said she'd check on the drink and that the food just comes out of the kitchen as it's ready. She brought my second drink a few minutes later. After asking our second server to check on my burger, it had been about an hour since I ordered it and everyone else was done eating. I cancelled it. Never got to eat

The check came out. Auto gratuity, which is perfectly fine for our large party. Except they wouldn't split the bill. So while figuring out how we're all going to pay and keep track of what we owe, we figured out that the tax on the receipt was calculated after the auto grat. They were adding tax based on the gratuity. Illegal. So we pointed it out, a manager came by and said, "no one in 6 years has ever said anything about that and that's just how our system works." Doesn't make it any less illegal. Just means you didn't put gratuity as a tax free item in the POS. Between the fact that I spent 2 hours there and never got to have dinner. I won't be back. And I'll be dropping the DoR a little tip to look into your returns for the past 6 years.

REPLY TO THE RESTAUTANT'S RESPONSE:. My burger did not come out 30 minutes after I ordered. My burger did not come out at all. I never received my food. At all. Like at all at all. I asked for it twice. It never came out. Do not publicly lie and tell me I'm complaining over nothing. My dinner, NEVER ARRIVED. Out party started at 645. It was 8 pm when I told the server I never received my food and to just go ahead and cancel it. Your reply, is about as unprofessional as they come.

We booked the sippin Santa. The staff were amazing, the drinks were okay, the food was poor. For example 12 dollar fries that tasted like a mix of old fast food fries. Cheese and meat plate had very little on it. For the experience it's fun by don't order food, really bad.

After going to Little Rituals we decided to stop over here for the Christmas special - Sip’n’Santa.

They had a special curated menu for this as well as their normal offerings. The drinks had good mix rations as they weren’t too sweet or too strong. Could use a bit more flavor in some of them though.

I ordered the secret Santa and I was pleasantly surprised with it as it was a nice and cozy warm drink. Perfect for the weather.

The decorations were phenomenal and bright. Very cheerful and festive for sure.

Though it wasn’t busy on a work night I do suggest a reservation. This also gets you a special offer when doing so. Unfortunately we weren’t given the opportunity as there was a private event we got in right after, but if possible, definitely do a reservation.

I feel like some of the featured cocktails need some fine tuning but a great atmosphere and great staff. Maybe just stick with your go to drink and enjoy the surroundings.
