The food is not very good, quality texture taste overall needs to be changed when you go into Denny's and IHOP you know it it's like a lot of times literally like wow yummy yummy you have to bring it if you're going to have a diner Black Bear Diner definitely comes up quite a bit short especially comparing it to those other two there's no comparison, that's too bad I'm not saying it's not fresh it's just really really missing the mark.

We decided to stop off at this black bear diner because we've been to other locations and had a great experience each time.

We were seated in a booth and that was where the bad experience started. Tons of flies all over the windows. We informed our server that we were moving to a table instead of the booth in hopes that the flies wouldn't be on that side. Unfortunately, they were and that alone ruined our experience.

Our server Julianne, was nice, funny and attentive and she even apologized for those little nuisance. 🪰

Maybe we just got there on a bad day but I've seen other reviews where they too had fly problems. Don't think we will go back to that location.

I recently experienced exceptional service from the new Assistant Manager, Billy. Hospitality is so vital in the restaurant industry, and Black Bear Diner truly excels in that regard. If you're visiting or live nearby, I highly recommend stopping in to enjoy a delicious meal! The food is fantastic, and what makes the experience even better is the welcoming atmosphere created by people like Billy, who greets you with a warm smile and a genuine, hospitable personality. I am definitely a loyal customer and look forward to returning!

This is the best diner that has service and decor and food that reminds you like you step back in the 60s. We go there every time we're in town and have never been disappointed. Their biscuits and gravy are to die for along with their Chicken fried steak. Everything seems to be fresh and homemade. The ladies that wait on us are the best. They always come around making sure that we're not eating anything. Tonight is a Friday so it's all you can eat fish fry so we'll have to go. You will not be disappointed

My husband and I come here every Saturday morning!! Food is delicious. Every single server who has helped us has been extremely friendly. Very hard workers and lovely ladies. Thank you guys for making our experience every time we come here awesome!!
