I’ve eaten at Black Bear restaurants in the past but this one was exceptional. The food was fresh and the service was outstanding. The interior could use a refresh but it appeared clean.

What a delicious, local restaurant with every imaginable breakfast item in large portions. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting our server, Mia. The local patrons also noticed and welcomed us. We love Scottsdale and when coming annually always plan to make a stop at the Black Bear Cafe. Can’t wait to try the desserts in the future.

There was a wait, said they'd clean a booth, hostess gave our booth to someone else she apologized but to be fair I was wearing bright red everyone else was wearing dark colors so the fact she didn't see us was odd, we were given a table right after got to our table and it wasn't properly cleaned it had for example opened butter packets and coffee creamers , I asked for a medium rare burger and it was well done (no I didn't want to wait 20mins more for a new...
