Continually disappointed in this restaurant. If you have allergies, do not rely on their menu to keep you safe. Never got a call back from management after an allergy issue. I also sent an email to the email addres in the response and never heard back.

Arrived at 5pm for happy hour only to find out happy hour had already ended. Very attentive service. Shared carnitas and chicken tacos. Chips were a little over salted but salsas, especially tomatillo, were tasty.

## The Verdict
Sometimes you find a place that gets the fundamentals right without trying to impress you to death. Blanco is that place.

## What Worked
The short ribs were exceptional—tender enough to cut with a fork, with depth that comes from someone who actually knows what they're doing in the kitchen. This isn't throw-it-in-a-slow-cooker cooking; this is technique.

Portion intelligence. Finally, a restaurant that understands satisfaction doesn't require a doggy bag. You leave content, not comatose. At $85 for two with tip, it's positioned exactly where it should be—upscale enough to matter, accessible enough to return.

The booth situation deserves mention. Full booths that actually accommodate a business conversation without your neighbor hearing your quarterly projections. Service was attentive without hovering—a skill that's rarer than it should be.

## The Details That Matter
Even the chips and salsa showed restraint—smaller portions, higher quality. It's a small thing that signals the kitchen's approach to everything else.

## Overall Assessment
This is your go-to for business lunches where the food needs to be good enough that it's not a distraction, but impressive enough that your guest notices. Mission accomplished.

Would I return? Already planning the next meeting.

Food is great, the buttery rice is amazing, not such a fan of the beans and found them a bit bland. The enchilada trio is fantastic. Drink prices are a bit high.

Interior is really nice, perfect in the winter.

My family came here for my birthday. We had the spicy shrimp ceviche, elote, queso, spicy margaritas, tacos, and more. The food was very flavorful, the service was amazing. @Monica, thank you for your attentiveness, knowledge, and kindness.

The restaurant is upscale, the service that we received was great.
The food for me was bad.
I ordered the chicken chimichanga with rice and beans. The chimichanga looked and tasted like a frozen burrito deep fried, the red sauce was just bad. The salsa tasted like pace piconte sauce.
Nothing tasted homemade or upscale. Please have the chef visit Manuels, Chipotle, or Valle Luna del sol.

Jaime is incredible!!!! Food was delicious 😋 Walking in was such a great experience, the host station was the best. 😁

Gracie is the best! Lately it seems that service has been put on the back burner, not with Gracie. We showed up late Tuesday night with a group of 7 and Gracie was ready to serve with a smile. Her energetic personality and genuine kindness was legitimately the best service we have had in years. No, I do not know her from before this night, but you can tell she shows up to work willing to give every person she meets the best service she can provide. Now on to the food, Blanco always delivers great food and this was no exception. Thank you for a great birthday meal!

Great food and service. I typically only visit the Blancos, Tacos and Tequila in North Scottsdale or Biltmore location so I came here to see if the service and food were consistent and it was! I always enjoy their nachos followed by a skinny margarita. I recommend this place!

Beautiful restaurant and lovely atmosphere, perfect for meeting up with friends or going out on a date. The music was a tad too loud for conversation and the wait for food was a bit too long for me. Definitely make sure to get a reservation. The food was delicious and all the staff members were very nice. I'd definitely go again!

Our new favorite Mexican food place wow really impressed. Salsa incredible the street corn appetizer was the best we have ever had. My wife had the cheese enchiladas her favorite and I had the Mahi tacos both came with fantastic beans and not typical rice more like a corn and cilantro flavor. Our server was fun efficient and all around great. Finished off with a strawberry rhubarb empanada just epic meal.

Checked out Blanco Reserva at the new PV for a date night, and it was a great experience! The location and atmosphere are absolutely incredible, and the architecture really stands out. We had a short 15-minute wait, but it was no problem since we got to relax at the bar. I tried the Paloma margarita, which was fantastic, and we also enjoyed some chips and salsa before being seated.

Once we got to our table, we were impressed by the variety of high quality dishes. I went for the Tucson chimichanga with both red and green sauce and shredded beef, and it was delicious. My wife had the Chicken Caesar Salad with a special twist of Chicken Tinga, and she loved it as well. Overall, it was a great meal at a reasonable price. While the food was high quality, it didn’t blow us away in terms of uniqueness, but we will definitely be back. A solid four star experience!

This is to mexican food like velveeta is to cheese..It is noisy, over priced and the food is terrible. Having lived in Phoenix for more than 60 years I know what good Mexican food is and this isn't it. I would rate the food is a little below Taco Bell.
