Blacno was ok. I noticed they changed their menu a little bit, but still kind of misses the mark. Flavors are muted and not much to it. Wish the menu reflected a flavorful Mexican flare with excellent seasonings and spices.
Our server was lovely. House margaritas yummy. Tacos delicious. Rice and beans sub par, no bueno. Chips and salsa, not my favorite. Would come back for the birria tacos.
Would eat here again. We sat on the patio which was really quiet. Food was delicious. Service was outstanding.
We arrived at 6:15 and had tickets to the symphony figuring that an hour was plenty of time to have dinner and walk to symphony hall. After ordering and waiting 30+ minutes I told our server, who was quite pleasant, about our time limitation but that did not seem to make much of a difference. When we arrived the hostess told us that without a sporting or concert event that business was not very brisk. After about 45 minutes from the time we ordered our food arrived, giving us about 10 minutes to eat before we had to leave. Our meal was mediocre at best. I had a crunchy taco that was no better than what I've had at Taco Bell. I love Mexican food and will not be returning to Blanco Cocina again, not only for the length of time to be served but mostly the food.
Fantastic business lunch option! Would recommend to anyone traveling here for work and needing to take clients out.
This was our second time here, and once again the experience was extremely disappointing. It took an hour just for the appetizers to come out, and the entire dinner dragged on for two and a half hours for a table of four. That kind of wait might make sense for a large party or special event, but not for a simple dinner. On top of that, service was poor and disorganized. It took nearly an hour for our order to even be taken and another 45 minutes to receive one alcoholic drink. Part of our appetizer order was wrong as well — despite specifically asking for no pico on the queso, it was still served with pico. The restaurant was loud, making it hard to enjoy the meal, and overall the service was some of the slowest we've ever experienced. We had been considering this place for a rehearsal dinner for 30 people , but after two bad experiences, we are not so sure as you could imagine how long it might take
We've had great experiences here time and again! The service is always quick and the food is consistently excellent
Great experience! The food was amazing! The service was awesome as well. We dined during the Restaurant Week promotion and everything was delicious - especially the guacamole and shrimp tacos.
The only problem was I asked for no cilantro except for what was in the rice. Cilantro was sprinkled in the dish. Tried to take as much out, but wasn't successful. All I tasted was soap while eating my food. I did mention it to my waiter and very politely he said he put no cilantro in the order.
Every thing was exceptional! We ordered carne azada tacos, shrimp tacos and smashed burger. Daniel was our waiter and he was very polite and friendly. We really enjoyed every minute at blanco cosina!

The gentleman that was checking guests in at the front door last night was extremely rude and condescending. He seemed bothered when a guest would speak to him. Our server and service on the other hand was absolutely fantastic.
The team of servers were very attentive and welcoming. Our food was very good. The mahi tacos were excellent! It was easy to eat there and then go to the arena for our event.
Overall service was good but food was sub par at best. The rice was white rice which is odd for a Mexican food place and the cost was rather high for two people.
I have Celiac and this is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in town. We drive from Surprise to come here regularly. We had reservations for 9:30 and we're running a bit late. I called and spoke to the front and the guy put me at ease and said we were good. They close at 10 and i felt incredibly bad about showing up that close to closing. Our server has incredible, I forgot his name unfortunately. Had a great beard. They were extremely accommodating. I get the crispy shell tacos and they're incredible. I usually order 2 extra which doubles the price but its ok. It's hard to find crispy shelled gluten free tacos. The chips and salsa are also gluten free. Gluten free or not these are some of the best chips and salsa I've ever had. My wife oders the chicken tinga enchiladas and she adores them. Highly recommend this place to anyone who's gluten free or loves Mexican food in general. Thank y'all!
Good Happy Hour selections and food is typically pretty good.
