Cool place but bad bar service late night. Tacos are very American, other options looked better.

This really should be a one star but im not that mean.
Guys i get it we are not regulars (who get treated like royalty) but man having our drinks being empty for over 20 min (yes it was timed this is not an exaggeration) and being ignored so many times i had to walk over and ask for another round. If yall want more people to come by man you really have to be a little bit more friendly to new guests.
Felt like a ghost seeing all the regulars having their waters and sodas refilled.
We just wanted another round of actual drinks and wouldve stayed longer.
Lady next to us dropped her coke baggy but it got returned by one of ur fellow patrons.
I dont think well be returning and obviously have a pretty bad taste in our mouths from a bad experience that couldve been avoided with simple steps of service.
Being in hospitality for 20 years my advice to you is just to do better, treat everyone the same. Im 100% bill tipper and i tipped accordingly tonight. Sorry if you felt it was unfair but we were there for 1 1/2 hours and our table was touched once.

Blue Agave! You’ve won me over… I love birria and I’ve had weight loss surgery. My husband loves a place close by but I can’t eat there bc I can’t and won’t pay $20 for a meal I am taking 4 bites of. BUT tonight I ordered the Birria soup. Yesssss not only delicious but a small cup for Less than $6. I have found my spot. Thank you. If I could substitute the corn (bc I can’t eat it) with onions we’d be in trouble BUT it only had a little bit of corn so it was easy to remove. I will be sharing this Bariatric find!! I am so happy… also my husband said next time he’s getting a Bowl to himself. lol

We ordered our margaritas without salt. They came with salt. No big deal. Until our server just tried wiping salt from our glasses 10 feet away from us. We are regulars there and even if we weren't that's unacceptable.

The best thing at this place was the appetizer! Fajitas were blah.... I sampled three different types of tacos. All were sub par. Was our first time there and will be our last.

We took friends to Taco Tuesday. They loved it. 3 more customers!! Waiter was good and so was the food.

The menu was creative and offered many good options. The service may have been too attentive. We felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant, even though it wasn't very busy.

We have been going to Blue Agave since we moved to the area 10 years ago but last night will be our last visit. To start, our wait staff, Ryan, was terrible. He forgot to turn in our appetizer order. He was absent during most of the time we were there. We had to ask other wait staff for service because Ryan could not be found. My wife always orders the fish tacos. They were sub par. They were not served hot & the flavor was off. My pork burrito was not nearly as meat filled as it has been in the past. It was mostly beans. I expect higher prices today but I also expect good service & tasty food.

A regular spot for us. Good neighborhood spot. Good reasonably priced food and drink. Good friendly service.

Service was excellent and food was delicious. We ordered piña coladas with low expectations knowing that few restaurants in the Valley even make them. To our delight, they were very good, and we'd order them again. Waitstaff were very attentive throughout our dinner. We'll be back.

The food and service at Blue Agave is always top notch. In addition, their chips and salsa to start your dinner is the best!

Okay, this was only my first visit and it was during happy hour... we chose this place on a whim for taco tuesday... we sat at the bar, $2.99 tacos with a drink. Surprisingly delicious and sizable! There was live music. I crave live music when I go out. The place was packed, my friend and I were able to relax on the patio side of the bar, Listen to the piano sing along with the familiar songs. Then Mark, bartender and manager made it even better introducing himself, advising us of the daily specials or entertainment, and the fact that they are open Until 1 am! That is so valuable to hospitality workers that usually don't get out of work until all the restaurants are closed. So now I have a comfortable, clean, tasty spot for an after shift, drink or bite to eat🙂

We stumbled on this spot online while visiting Phoenix and it totally delivered. The pork burrito was awesome, the margaritas hit the spot, and the service was solid. Honestly, there’s nothing to complain about!
