Bowl of Greens Fine Salads

I fail to understand how this place gets good reviews. I used to come here all the time when I was in school, about 10 years ago. The ingredients were fresh, the staff friendly, the portions good, and the prices were reasonable albeit a bit high. I went back for nostalgia sake this last week. Two salads and 1 fountain drink came to over $40 (how is that even possible? One salad didn't even have any protein in it), the guy at the cash register looked like someone had just killed his dog, the chicken isn't the flavorful grilled chicken it used to be, and the tables were uncomfortable. Back in the day, this place used to have a line and despite being peak lunchtime, the place was almost empty. With good reason. Worse yet, I left hungry because the portion I received was so small (create your own salad, 3 vegetables and the tiniest sprinkle of cheddar cheese then I had to ask for an extra cup of dressing because they use the smallest containers for dressing--I guess that's where the extra $10 charge came from?)... Seriously. Hungry. This was just so disappointing. What happened to this place that used to be a staple?

I ordered a surprise bag, to save a meal... The guy working, wasn't really happy, but I tried to engage. The one plate was great! The other was very dry with just rice, which was good, but there was no protein item or sauce given.

I got a great deal with TooGoodToGo and unlike several other places that really didn't give $30 for the $10 deal, these folks really did! Very nice staff, Susie made a much appreciated adjusted to make my set more vegetarian/vegan oriented although I do eat fish (pescatarian no animal meats) and the plates were great. Have been a couple times and would recommend it good range of dishes, lots of variety.

I would not recommend this location. Food quality is below standard, and nothing tastes fresh. Absolutely no atmosphere as all you hear are the workers shouting.

Terrible experience. I’ve ordered from their Scottsdale location many times and the food was great. The Phoenix location seems like they do not know what they are doing. I ordered once on Uber eats and it was bad and I thought it was because the food was delivered, so I gave them another chance by going in and the experience was even worse. Music has no taste and some of the items even taste spoiled. No music in the restaurant so the vibe is completely off. And I had to pay for parking to eat here, what a total waste! Management, please look into this!

I love this place! I've ordered food from here for the team at work and a few times just for myself and I've never been disappointed. The flavors are perfection, they are quick with orders, and everyone seems really friendly. The side of chicken kabobs is my go-to, but their cheese ravioli is amazing. This is my favorite lunch spot in Phoenix.

I've been coming to this place with my sister since around 2015. Back when I was attending ASU. This restaurant has become a family favorite ever since. Although I have moved to a different state, I always make sure to stop by to eat here when I visit because we all love it! My parents still live in Arizona and also love coming here. The workers and owner are all very kind and hard working. The service is friendly. The food is amazing, very tasty, and always consistent. The atmosphere is great and clean. This place deserves all the stars ?.

I was staying at a hotel and used a delivery service to order the Grilled Chicken Caesar and Hummus. Great portion of salad. Lots of chicken! Hummus was good and fresh also. Thank you for serving fresh healthy food.
