I’m glad they chose the name brunch problems cause it lets you know what you’re getting into.
Me and my girlfriends came in recently and the atmosphere was decent & so was the food but
I’ve noticed that some staff here are treated with a lack of respect and courtesy. It’s unfortunate to see certain managers displaying a rude or dismissive attitude toward employees, which creates a negative atmosphere for both the workers and customers. A little more kindness and professionalism from leadership would make a big difference. It’s hard to enjoy an experience when the people working there seem undervalued. I saw my server damn near in tears while trying to take care of us and it completely threw us off. Definitely needs better management.

Atmosphere was great food and service were mid. Collard greens were very salty, portions could have been larger for what you pay for. Our server Taylor was not as attentive. I feel like she meant well but with gratuity already included I felt as though she didn't really care about her tables.

It was very quiet and food was amazing. It did smell heavily of cleaning chemicals and the coffee was the worst I've ever had. It was either extremely burnt or pregeound and very old. I drink my coffee black, but I had to put 5 creamers in and still couldn't finish one cup. We were seated quickly and got our food quickly. Waitress was very nice, food a little pricy for the amount, but again, it was very good. Only downside is the smell of cleaning chemicals and the coffee.

The brunch menu on the website was not them same at the restaurant.
The waitress told my friend that the cooks had been lazy lately so to pass on the macaroni and cheese. The yams weren't good and the greens weren't cooked all the way.
We ordered a bottle and the waitress was too busy fraternizing with these gentleman at another table that she didn't realize our bottle was ready.
When we paid she told us gratuity was included.
Making people tip for mid customer service is ostrobogulous behavior.

This ain’t it! Music entirely too loud, plastic silverware, portions extremely small. I ordered the catfish platter, came with 1 piece of fish, half a cup of Mac and puréed yams, for $25. Waitstaff never checked on us since taking our order. I’m all for supporting black businesses and was excited to come here. Unfortunately won’t be back. There’s too many other options to come back.

1st time visit. It was a VIBE. Music great, not too loud but enough. Food, music, and hookah. Reasonable drinks. Good potions of food. Food was good. I didn't like the Yams tasted canned. May have been just too soft.

Kid-friendliness: Not to lit for kids.

I recently visited brunch problems for brunch, and while there were some positive aspects, my overall experience left much to be desired.

First off, the DJ was decent, creating a nice atmosphere that added to the vibe of the place. The servers were also quite nice and attentive, which was a plus. However, when it came to the food, I found the portions to be off. They seemed smaller than expected, which was disappointing for a brunch setting where you hope to enjoy a hearty meal.

Additionally, I decided to order hookah for $60, but unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the price. The hookah man seemed inattentive, and despite my attempts to address the issues with the hookah, they remained unresolved. It was frustrating, especially since I had high hopes for a relaxing time.

Overall, I appreciate the good service and music, but the discrepancies in food portions and the hookah experience left me feeling underwhelmed. I hope they can improve these aspects in the future.

The food was delicious. The fried chicken tasted like someone’s grandma made it; so yummy. Brittany our server was great. So friendly and attentive.

We came for my hubb's birthday and had a reservation and still waited a bit. Once we were seated we waited a whole hour for our food. The drinks and the chicken were pretty good (catfish not so much) however, what is that to say, when the service is not up to par AND prices are on the high side?!? DJ was great! Cool Vibes...We wanted to come out and support our own but we have got to do better customer service wise.
