Fantastic experience! Great food and services. I let them know that we were taking my friend out for his birthday and they had a signed card for him and macaroons. Nice touch.

Our food was outstanding. We ordered off the fresh sheet and got shrimp, scallops, lobster and king crab. Everything tasted so delicious and fresh. We concluded our meal with the chocolate cake and boy oh boy was that the right choice. Our server Ray was super friendly, attentive and did not rush us in the least. We can’t wait to back!

I truly want to thank the entire team at Buck & Rider Camelback for such an incredible experience this evening.

From our arrival to the end of our evening, every aspect was enjoyable. The quality and caliber of your restaurant, the service you provide, the excellence you put into the care from start to finish was evident, and not just from our table but around the restaurant.

Thank you so much for such an enjoyable experience, we are looking forward to another opportunity to come back!

We ate here with a group to celebrate my birthday. The staff were all very friendly. It is a very busy place so definitely reccomend making a reservation in advance. We had a variety of oysters, scallops, and sushi for appetizers. They were all delicious. The alaskan oysters were our favorite of the apps. The drinks were crafted uniquely and were tasty. For the main course I had a New York Strip, and it was cooked perfectly. The Angus beef was definitely of good quality. Kind of pricey but definitely worth the costs.

Confusing seating arrangements for happy hour,
Not so dog friendly for a dog friendly place.
Especially for larger friend groups.

We came in hoping to enjoy happy hour on what is advertised as a dog-friendly patio, only to be told that we couldn’t sit there with our dogs. Yes… on the dog-friendly patio.

To be clear: the patio had dogs on it. Other guests had dogs. But apparently our dogs crossed some invisible, unspoken line that no one bothered to explain until we were already there and ready to order.

It was disappointing and honestly confusing. If dogs are only allowed sometimes, under certain conditions, or depending on who asks, that should be clearly stated. Otherwise, calling a patio “dog friendly” feels misleading at best.

We were ready to spend money, enjoy happy hour, and relax — instead we were turned away and left wondering why a place that claims to welcome dogs makes it so uncomfortable to actually bring them.

Plenty of restaurants manage to be genuinely dog-friendly and hospitable. Unfortunately, this wasn’t one of them.

I have had quite a few people recommend this place and, with my Mom’s 72nd BD, we had the perfect opportunity to go, and let me tell you, it was WELL worth it. The ambiance is magnificent! We went in late evening so the lighting was nice and dim, very inviting and intimate, and the fires going added a wonderful warmth and smell. The service was amazing, very attentive but not overt, just the right touch! The food was also standout. We started with fried calamari, crispy, light, flavorful, then moved to a dozen taw oysters. You can mix and match, everything tasted fresh as advertised and you definitely could make out the difference in their location with the variety of brine. My father tried the New England Clam Chowder, and this man is HARD to please and impress, and he loved it. The main courses came out with little wait after the apps, half Boston Lobster, Shrimp Risotto, Pan Seared Bass, and the Diver Scallops. Again, home run, risotto was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, the scallops also were perfect, and the Bass crispy skin and flaky white flesh was awesome (highly recommend the caper béchamel). After all that, one would be ready to push away from the table and take the check…no. We decided to do dessert…and it was THE best decision and possibly the best way to end the night. The Lemon Meringue pie came out with the meringue SO high you think you could wear it as a hat and the flavor (with the toasted outside) was like a campfire roasted marshmallow!! The custard was light and delightful and tasted like fresh lemons. The banana cream was like I died and went to heaven. Thick, rich, creamy, but not too heavy. The chocolate and caramel drizzle with fresh bananas and the graham cracker crumble just put it over the top! If the contents of this review doesn’t convince you to go, maybe the length will…who writes a book unless its THAT good. Also, try the unsweetened tea, I don’t know what its all about, but its the best tea Ive EVER drank in my entire lifetime. Thank you to Mike the GM, his staff, chefs, and servers for a wonderful evening. We cannot wait to go back. Last thing…its been roughly a week since we were there, and my Dad is still raving about it to his friends, he NEVER does that, EVER! Do yourself a favor and go!
