Our whole experience from beginning to end was wonderful. Everyone who works there are so welcoming, our server Andrew was fantastic, then the food came and everything was so delicious, stone crab, sushi, crab cakes, Brussel sprouts and loaded baked potatoe with Lemon Merengue for dessert. Very nice ambience. When I arrived there was a huge line but it moves very fast. Oysters selection were 1A and cooking style for the drought and King Crab were spectacular. Don't miss the florida stone crabs with their sauce, you will remember me.

Buck & Rider is one of my wife’s and my absolute favorite spots in Phoenix. The food is consistently fantastic, and the atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of lively and comfortable. I always go for the steak with their crab cakes, truly the best I’ve had anywhere. Honorable mention to the shrimp ceviche, which is incredibly fresh, light, and full of flavor. Every visit is a reminder of why we keep coming back.

The restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday night. We had a reservation but we still had to wait for a table to clear. Our waiter was busy with a large table next to us, he was attentive and helpful when he finally took our order. The oysters came right away and our scallops and fish were well seasoned and prepared. I am not usually a super fan of banana cream pie but this one was OMG so good. Definitely a place we were glad we came.
Our experience started off rocky — we were greeted at the front desk by a middle-aged woman who was condescending about our reservation and made us feel pretty uncomfortable. It definitely wasn’t the warm welcome we expected, especially since we were celebrating a major anniversary.
However, the night completely turned around thanks to Laura and Vivian. Both of them went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Laura had incredible customer service — she checked in multiple times and made sure everything was perfect — and Vivian made sure our celebration still felt special despite the rough start.
They truly made us feel heard and valued. Laura and Vivian, you saved the night — we love you girls!

Came here after heart surgery today. Recommended by hotel concierge. Hankering for clam chowda! Got it! Also had terrific fresh fish, house salad, sushi & seasonal vegetables (butternut squash). Shout out to our server Laura who initially brought me 2 glasses of water & refilled them twice more. Anesthesia makes you ridiculously thirsty (apparently). 🤪 So very glad I listened to my heart and dined here. We were seated immediately at just after 5 pm. Only down side was that the interior space became quite loud-so super hard for my husband with hearing aides to hear me or Laura. I’d still definitely recommend-especially the “chowda”!🥣
