This place was was just right. The music was a little loud just like I liked it. The staff was all friendly and inviting. The ambiance was on point. So we ordered large onion rings, cheese curds and pizza fritta . Onion rings and cheese curds were tasty but no so much the pizza fritta. It's pizza dough lightly fried with tossed garlic butter but they might have been over fried because they were too hard. We also ordered a 10inch deep dish with mushrooms and bacon now that was very delicious.it came out popping hit. So definitely visit Veros place. I'm coming back to try the chicken wings and sandwiches. I saw those on my way out lol.

Just went this past Thursday and the pie was OK at best. The service is a whole other story. The staff is nice but the wait time is/was redonkulous and it was far from being a packed house. An hour to get food and refills were far in between. If you have an hour and a half to kill to eat a pizza.....this is the place to go.

Great food, very nice place. Other than being a little chilly inside, it was very nice. Worth the drive from

terrible experience. i took a 7-year break from this place (after a terrible experience), hoping that new ownership would solve this. vero makes a great pizza, but the dine-in restaurant experience has always been a tremendous let down. nothing has changed in 7 years. there is no manager/ owner present on weekends (only shift leads). when i asked about why our order of 3 meatballs and kids spaghetti was taking 38+ mins, the staff at the bar laughed at me and my wife. not sure what was so funny about it? i walked out. i'm a franchise owner of a pizza shop. this would be unacceptable in my store.
Great Deeeeeeep Dish Pizza. Loved the staff and service. There were televisions, but not to many. The bar area is great for a happy hour stop with friends. Great place to gather and eat. Love the Pizza!

Tried Vero for the first time and the service was horrible. We ordered to go and were given a pickup time of 65 minutes. We arrived promptly 65 minutes later and were told it would be another 6 - 8 minutes. 20 minutes later we finally received our food without as much as a "Sorry for your wait". The food was OK but Lou Malnati's is better and the food is always ready at the pickup time.

I’m from Chicago (born and raised die hard south sider 7900) and just visited my in laws in Maricopa. My mom’s name is also Vero, so the name immediately caught my attention. I ordered a basic all sausage thin crust tavern style pizza and felt like I was at home!!! This is Chicago pizza 🍕 and will not disappoint.
