Typically, we love the Desert Ridge Café Zupas, but today was one of the worst. Started with poor service, stood there for over 5 minutes to order with no one else in front of us. One person busting her ass and the other four standing around talking to a girl at the register. Then the guy at the register had no clue what was going on and had to ask us several times what our order was. The drinks we begin to love, Pina Colada, Mango Mojito, and Strawberry Daiquiri were all watered down with zero flavor. I guess they had their B crew working Mondays. Guess we will avoid Mondays.
Very good place for sandwiches and salad
the southwest superfood bowl quite literally brought the life back into my body while i was on my lunch break. i wasn’t sure that i could make it through the day but this meal restored my faith. cafe zupas has the right idea including a little bread roll and a little chocolate strawberry. this is exactly what i needed. thanks.
Weekend Go-to place for delicious soups, salads and sandwiches! Kids love it 😋
Cafe Zupas has the best soup and sandwich combination in the Valley. Give them a shot you won't be disappointed.
Their soups are super disappointing. I’ve ordered a variety of them and they are all so watery. A lobster bisque should not be brothy and watery. A southwestern potato soup shouldn’t be a broth with no potatoes or chiles. The mushroom bisque is a bland watery, broth. There’s no way these are “scratch made.” It’s like a condensed soup with too many gallons of water added. I love soup and am always looking for a place to go, but Cafe Zupas isn’t it.
I’ve only had this restaurant through delivery but I am impressed every time. The food is delicious, fresh, nutritious, and is always presented well. Each meal even comes with a chocolate covered strawberry and a dinner roll. I highly recommend this restaurant, it’s delicious.

What a shame they can’t get soups, salads and sandwiches done in a reasonable time. Waited over 30 minutes AFTER I was quoted for a to-go pick up only to end getting a refund since they were unable to prepare it. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. They don’t value their customers time.
Order $50 worth of food and ended up with chocolate covered strawberries with zero food. Thanks Cafe Zupas, won't come here again! No quality assurance.

There customers service is leaps and bounds below bar. Dear lord. I can only give an establishment so many chances but each time it’s just literal chaos.

The other two womein in my office chose to use our DoorDash gift cards to order from Zupas Cafe as they had eaten here before and spoke very highly of the food. I personally will never order again. Fortunately they did manage to leave off the Tomatoes that I am alergic to so I wasnt endangered by thei incompetance, but they did not add any of the items that I requested to be added in the ap order, so consequently I am disappointed in both my sandwich and my salad.
Additionally the included Avacado on my sandwich is entirely BROWN and that's just disgusting...The bread, which has toast markings on it is lukewarm and not the least toasty...I guess Zupas warms the sandwich-which resulted in a barely warm, slightly soggy and unappetizing sandwich. Whatever Zupa Sauce is, there is no flavor whatsoever and once I scraped off the revolting black Avacado and added some of my own mayo, it was still a room temperature, tasteless mass to slog thru.
The salad is supposed to include Edamame and it didnt have a single one. I also asked for croutons which did not arrive and the bacon was undercooked, tissue thin and soggy too. Chicken cubes are pale white, colorless, tasteless, and slightly wet the way Walmart precooked chicken (shudder) is. Altogether a bitter yet bland and soggy lunch-time experience completely ruining the fun reward that our lunch was supposed to be.

We visited Zupas today on 11/1, and they were super busy! Despite the added stress, Kerstin was very very kind and hauling butt to get through the line the best she could! Major props to her.
