New management and staff this year. Wasn't so great in the beginning but they have improved. Good food!

They're much better now that they hired Juan back as the cook. The previous cook didn't season the food, so it wasn't that good. Juan is a much better cook. Customer service is always good here.

Another update since things are not improving. Lemon wedges are now .25c, all drinks are heavily marked up, including refills (.29c difference between getting a new cup and refilling). Lines are still very slow, honestly seems like the new management didn't learn from the failed previous one. 2 stars.

This place used to ne really good. The owner Emilio retired end of September. It was taken over by new management, The Rodnic. The original staff stayed on up until this past Friday 10-19-18. Over the weekend they quit. The service has gone downhill from there. I work in the building in the same courtyard. The business has decreased. I've been served undercooked burgers. Cold biscuits for biscuits and gravy. Even expressing concerns to the owner Rodney it seems he doesn't care. They're losing business fast. I understand they're struggling but they need to make sure new staff know what they're doing.

Since I found out about this place, I come here at least once a week. Delicious food and safest place in downtown Phoenix. You will have to go to see why.

Most of the customers of Cafe 1010 are State employees but it is open to the public. The food here is consistently good which is prepared by a family maning the grill. They have a grill serving burgers & hot sandwiches, a hot bar with daily specials, another area with just sandwiches & a salad bar. You won't be disappointed with whatever you choose.

Great food for the money. The owners are really nice and manage the business themselves. Great breakfast burritos, omelets and bisquits and gravy. They have lunch specials week days, cook food to order, provide a good salad bar and cater to the local state employees which really reflects in their fair prices. Oh and they have a breakfast and a lunch buy 9 meals and get one free meal deal. Thanks Cafe 1010 for just being close to work and the great food.

I wish they wouldn't serve hot food on Styrofoam plates and to-go containers. It clearly burns the bottom, and that can't be good for you! How about changing to plates and to-go containers that are more customer and environmentally friendly?
