I went to Café Rio today on happy Valley. I wanted one extra scoop of rice. one scoop. She said she was going to charge me for it. I said you’re really gonna charge me for an extra scoop of rice. She said yes that is what we have to do. I’ve been going there for years the same location they have never ever ever once. Other locations as well I have never been charged for one scoop of extra rice. I’m very disappointed at this location. I am African-American I feel as I have been rightly discriminated against!

Had to go to another location because the lady doing the toppings is so rude. Asked for cheese on my tacos and was told no. Love the food, staff needs some work. Always super busy and messy inside too.

Customer service needs improving. Have visited other locations in Idaho, Washington, Utah and Montana. Will not dine at this location again.

Terrible customer service. From the moment we started our order they acted as if they were inconvenienced. You get hardly any food and it's clearly been sitting there. This was their third strike at three different locations. Never getting Cafe Rio again.

Food taste was good but the amount of meat and sides that we were given. I even added double meat to get more. Stop being stingy, it’s already expensive.

Ordered a quesadilla and wanted it with beans and rice. The ordering menu makes it seem like that was included in the meal under the “step 3” portion. When I got to the counter I was charged an extra $4 for a small cup of rice and beans. Didn’t notice right away and already paid. When I realized the amount seemed too high I asked the employee behind the counter about it and she just handed me the receipt and walked away. Also wasn’t handed my drink cup and had to wait a few minutes for her to come back to the counter to give it to me. $23 for a quesadilla and an iced tea is criminal.

Quality and service has taken a nosedive. Very expensive, the staff did not take the time to ask what we wanted on our burritos, so ended up with no toppings and acted surprised or like they didn’t understand when we tried to add toppings. They threw them together haphazardly with a ton of and beans but very, very and I mean very little meat. Will not be back.

Went there to meet some friends, and it's like a super cheap knock-off Chipotle. Everything looked like it had been sitting out for hours and tasted like it. Our friends' niece even had a hair in their food.

Super clean store with delicious fresh food. Blows other Mexican fast food out of the water.

By far the worst Cafe Rio I've ordered from. What I received is not even close to what I asked for. Never again.
