By no means do I want to overlook my previous review as looking back, I am proud of the creativity I put into that one, but 10+ years later and I just want to update to say that Cake Shop by LGO is still going strong!My absolute favorite cookie on the universe is the Vegan Apple Almond Cookie... Whenever I want a sweet treat, this is my go-to!My son's favorite is the baby Old Timer, my daughter's favorite is the strawberry pineapple macaron, and my husband likes it all but if he must choose, he'd say the Snickerdoodle.You can't go wrong with anything in the case... and gelato is always a winner too!Grateful for this sweet options in the 'hood!

Have ordered the Celebration cake a few times and it was good. But there has to be a better way to do pickup and the parking is horrible. I have given up and go to Nothing Bundt Cakes for those special occasion cakes for now.

We have ordered cakes off the menu 1-2x a year from LGO since they opened, but this was the first year we chose to request a custom cake. This cake exceeded our expectations - I was so happy/surprised when I first saw it that I may have teared up a bit! Thank you to the LGO hospitality staff for such a beautiful addition to our party that tasted amazing as well.

OMG I ordered a lemon blueberry cake for my Mom's 92nd Birthday.....it was AMAZING!!!!! Dense with flavor, moisture and pure goodness. As a self professed cake connoisseur, this is one of the best pieces of cake I have ever eaten. So good, in fact, I may purchase one for me (only:)). Thanks LGO! You made a very special day even better!

I had the cookies and they were okay. I didn't feel like they knocked my socks off. Although they were atypical flavors, they don't have much of a selection for people allergic to peanuts. I think some of my friends would have liked to see regular chocolate chip.The service was good and quick.

The customer service could use some work. Some of the young ladies have a really negative and unhelpful attitude; negative customer service demonstrates a lack of social skills. Hopefully this company works on hiring more positive staff.

I tried the lemon blueberry cake and it was absolutely delicious. It was light and fruity with well balanced sweetness. Just perfect with a cup of coffee. Highly recommended.
They are the best at what they do. I don't even like cake but this is not cake, it's magic. I love their bread (rye), I love their financiers (little French cakes), and velvet and coconut cakes and my husbands favorite is carrot cake. We now live in Chicago but whenever we get a chance to visit- we always stop by to enjoy some deliciousness and recommend you do to :) I only wish they would deliver...

Finally broke down and ordered one of their reindeer cakes for Christmas. The cake itself is decorated absolutely adorable. Sadly one of the reindeer antlers broke before we got home. They took nothing away from the taste of the cake. It was chocolate raspberry compote. I felt it was very delicious but their chocolate cake kind of reminded me of the texture of a cake pop if that makes sense.

Cutest little cake shop attached to LGO with a variety of gorgeous cakes in various sizes! I picked up a 5 inch double chocolate cake for my birthday which was MORE than enough for 6 people. Seriously, we didn't even eat half of it and I can't wait to keep eating it for the rest of the week! It was extra rich, dark, and absolutely delicious. One of my favorite birthday cakes I've had and I'll definitely be back to try their other flavors. Also the man working was the sweetest person and made my birthday even extra special!
