Visited Carcara while attending a conference at the Phoenix Convention Center. I had realized that we would have a lunch break and secured a reservation. Unfortunately others did not. The crush of people who wanted a table made the initial experience a bit frustrating as it was confusing whether I needed to wait in line if I did have a reservation. Once seated it took a little bit for someone to come and check on us. I totally get that the restaurant got slammed. Appreciated the water at the outset. Service was good and helpful in terms of making a decision. I was with four other ladies and everyone enjoyed their meal. I ordered the Buddha Bowl and it was delicious! If I am in the area again, I would certainly go back.
Very disappointed. Service was extremely poor - server forgot our drinks even after being reminded twice. He didn't try to upsell in any way, once we finished our entrees, he was ready to close us out. (our reservations were at 6) He also rarely checked on our table. I find that regardless of where I am or what hotel chain it is, they just can't seem to have quality service in their nicer dining restaurans - especially when the hotel is hosting conferences. You would think they would add staff or have capable servers. The food was decent, but certainly not worth the prices.
Sat at the bar and they have the full menu available. Bartenders are super nice. Will be back.
Overall, it was nice, but the service was not great. It was the second time we have had some problems with service. Nothing hideous, but not great. The food was pretty good, and the general ambiance is very nice.
Waited at our table 30 minutes for our server that never arrived to bring us water or anything. Horrible service
Do not go here Don’t waste your money here.
Dined Al fresco which was a welcome relief from the east coast snow storms our party had just left. Top notch food. Loved The Phoenix cocktail
Carcara was incredible!
From start to finish, the food, ambiance, and service were top-tier. Alfredo took such amazing care of us.. warm, attentive, and truly elevated the entire experience. Every dish was delicious, and I’m still thinking about that Aperol Spritz… perfection.
We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back!

I spent Thanksgiving night at Carcara, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere and ambience were romantic, warm, and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a holiday dinner. Our server was fantastic: attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly taken care of throughout the evening. The drinks were also a standout — creative, well-crafted, and a great complement to the meal. Overall, Carcara delivered a memorable Thanksgiving experience. I'd definitely recommend it for a special night out.
For a Thanksgiving Dinner priced at $130, you can expect a very good, and hot (!), meal. Instead, we were served lukewarm food we returned. The second time around, some parts of our food were still not hot, but warm. We didn't return it another time, but proceed to eat only a warm dinner. That prompted a 10% discount. We didn't want a discount, but a first class Thanksgiving dinner, for that price! A restaurant in a restaurant that belongs to an international hotel chain, the Sheraton, should be ashamed of such a second class performance! But we'll remember: “You get me once, shame on you; you get me twice, shame on me!”

Food and service excellent. Only marred by 2 different homeless persons harassing people in restaurant on patio and noise of traffic. Recommend sit indoors if worried about being bothered.
The first time going there for Thanksgiving dinner, it was a nice dinner very.. The coffee the latte was delicious love. The price. I will go again. Very nice place to go get a cocktail with your wife or your partner. Recommend it to go and enjoy a drink or a coffee..
Really cool environment, but the food was terrible and our waitress disappeared for more than 20 minutes at a time on two different occasions. Shrimp was rubbery, grits were from a box, and the burger was very bland. The environment was nice though, so i guess there’s that

Booked here for a business dinner with a group of 6 not having dined here previously. I was very pleasantly surprised as for me this was a perfect place for us. The decor and ambiance were warm, interesting and inviting, the noise level was low to moderate (even though most tables were full) so we could hear each other easily. The food was delicious, and I felt a good value (high end but not overpriced). Our servers were very attentive but not obtrusive. When I am in downtown Phoenix again, I will return here.
Came for the Paint & Sip but Carcara food and drinks were on point!!
