I wouldn’t take the time to review any business unless they have made a real impact on my day to day outlook on life. I come to this location at least a couple times a week, and every time I come here, I feel absolutely welcome. The food is always hot, and every staff member is genuinely kind and you can tell they care and that they are genuinely good people. I have never once felt uncomfortable here, and they have always been very good to me. It has become a little sanctuary for me on my way home from work. The whole staff are great but I have to give a special shout out to Jahaira. I am going off the receipt so I hope the name is hers. She is just the most genuinely calming and welcoming presence I have encountered in my current life/mundane routine. She doesn’t need to say much for you to know she is an awesome person. Always greets you with the warmest smile and just radiates kindness. She deserves some recognition for her awesome attitude because it is a rare thing to see someone so frequently, in such an unforgiving world, just consistently present themselves in such a graceful and welcoming way.
I hope the whole staff sees this and I hope that I bring a smile to at least one face because they have been such a source of peace and comfort for me.

So I went to this location today and ordered a double burger — El Diablo — with a large fry and a drink. They wanted to charge over $17. When I got to the window I said, “Whoa, I didn’t know it was going to be that much.”
The gentleman at the window instantly said, “I gave you a discount — it’s $15,” because I was about to drive off. I was thinking maybe $10. I mean… that’s what you get at In-N-Out Burger. I don’t care if you’re putting Elvis fairy dust on the burger — it’s not worth fifteen dollars.
I’m grateful for the $2 discount, but I will never go there again.
The burger was OK. The fries were horrible. I even had a piece of a waffle fry and a tater tot mixed into my fries. The ranch dressing they gave me had more chemicals than my swimming pool. I felt like I was definitely being taken advantage of, financially and food-quality wise.
So I did the math at home: • Costco has 15 grass-fed patties for $31 • A giant brick of cheddar cheese (enough to generously cheese all 15 burgers): $6 • Pickles, lettuce, tomato, onion: $1 per burger • A giant bag of potatoes for fries: $6 • Mustard, ketchup, ranch: $10 total
That comes out to about $4.50 per real-ingredient hamburger with fries if I cook them at home — on a clean grill, no chemicals.
If I want a double patty, it’s about $6.50 per meal.
So I would save around $11 per meal, and I don’t have to play “discount games” at the window.
Ladies and gentlemen… let’s stay home with our families and cook real food. Because in the shadows, you don’t really know what’s in the food you’re eating at fast-food places anymore.
