Hey everybody! I just want to not only, recommend this bakery but ask people to support it. Gonzalo, the proprietor, was very respectful and attentive. I'm promoting local businesses here, simply because they're falling by the way side, because of the big conglomerates. I suggested something to him about perhaps baking some products that others may want some. Now I will admit, I did not purchase anything at the time. But, by asking him if he may be able bake a certain bread I was really wanting. He let me know tht he would very much consider it. Let us support Gonzalo and his bakery, CARMENS BAKERY!

Saw this place while in the plaza for other things and grabbed a Bavarian cream empanada and tres leches cake slice right before they closed at 7. Extremely tasty baked goods, reasonably priced, friendly man at the counter and there's so many beautiful pastries and other things we want to try. I'll be back!

My new favorite Mexican bakery. I found Carmen’s after my fave spot permanently closed. They are open long hours so you can get your favorite treat. I love the mini chocolate chip cookies and my kids love the empanadas and conchas. Owners couldn’t be friendlier!

The guy that workes here is so wholesome. He really takes the time to explain everything and the prices and the bread is amazing the prices are good and for sure I be back for the bread but also the customer service. I will be recommending this bakery to everyone I know.

I needed an order of flan for 30 people last minute, so I called this bakery at 7:00 am and asked the baker if it was possible to have the order ready by 11:00 am, I was worried he was going to say no because normally bakeries would ask you to place the order a day in advance. He said he was able to have the order done by 11:00 am and I was so grateful. I took the flan to a meeting and EVERYONE loved it. I got asked where I bought the flan from because it was that delicious. The man who works here is very friendly and will make you feel welcomed!
Just found this place and it's the second time I've been back in a week. Amazing sweets and really really nice people!

This bakery is one of the best I've visited in Phoenix! Not just because of their pastries, but mainly because of the people. Very friendly and personable. I enjoyed picking out my fave pastries while conversing with the employee/manager at the counter. Very pleasant experience. I don't always eat pan de dulce, but when I do...I'll be stopping by this bakery, LOL.
