It was as a blast. The best way to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. The admirals club experience was totally worth it.

Came for my bachelorette and had the absolute best time. Great service, incredible drinks, and the martini cart was top notch.

What an experience. We caught a pretend flight from San Francisco to Mexico City all while in Phoenix. Upon entering you get your tickets a boarding pass and a wings pin. Everyone was in character and costumes from a 1970s theme. The captain was funny with his jokes over the intercom. The complimentary drink was amazing. The other drinks we ordered were delicious as well. We had nuts that were brought to our table to snack on. They were good but definitely needed more snacks. A charcuterie board would have been nice or some finger foods. The guests sitting next to us were in great spirits and we had a great time. The decor and ambiance were impressive. It felt like we were really in the 70s at a speakeasy. Highly recommend a visit atleast once. Great for a date or girls date. Or if you have someone visiting Phoenix. Its a must see.

Don’t waste your time! Arrived 20 minutes early and the door opened 8 minutes after our departure time. This is a joke. I don’t understand how they are still operating. Maybe Wren & Wolf keep them afloat.

Honestly don’t waste your time. My reservation was $50 and the welcome drink was jungle juice. I ordered a Long Island and a Lowball. The long island tastes sweet almost like a cake. Then it dawned on me. This drink wasn’t made for me, it was made for everyone. My wife took a couple sips of her Lowball and told me “you’re right”. They don’t have mixologist they make batch drinks.

Here is the kicker… I asked the lady if I can pay and leave during their “martini time” and she told me it would ruin the experience. Sorry my experience was already ruined. I even offered to pay for an extra drink just to leave. #NOLIE. She kept asking me if she could get me something else but I told her i was good. Honestly I already knew the drinks were trash. Then she told me she’ll be back. When she returned she let me know she will take the Long Island off my tab, I told her I just want to pay and leave. Finally she came and handed me the bill, with no hesitation I didn’t look at the receipt I just tapped my card. The tip prompt was 7% 5% and I think 3% or it was in dollars. Idk I tapped the highest and asked to leave.

On the way out she talked to us. I let her know how I felt about the drinks and she confirmed. Drinks are not made for the person they are made in batches. Long story short the drinks at this place are not worth your time nor money.

FYI I looked at the receipt when I got into my car. I payed $40.37 for 1 drink. That included the $14 20% gratuity they automatically added and tax. That didn’t include my tip. Reminder I already given them $50 to reserve the spot. $25 per person. In total I paid almost $100 for 1 drink (3 if you include the welcome glass) and the Lowball was still full.. I will not be a returning customer. Hopefully you read this before you spend your money if not you’ll be reading this after.

Found a way to get a reservation somewhat quickly. You have to go to the website to get a reservation. Got lucky with a release date. Truly exceptional experience. Very much an Instagram bar, but service was excellent, concept is excellent, and the drinks were great.

Carry-On is a super cool 90 minute experience! The design and atmosphere are one of a kind, the drinks served are excellent and a very wide variety whether you want alcoholic beverages or not. Staff are all dressed properly for the occasion, happy to be there, kind, friendly and welcoming, we really enjoyed their hospitality. We rebooked for the trip to Tokyo and excited for the adventure! An experience that I highly recommend.

A truly unique, immersive experience down to the last detail. It’s a hassle to book it, but something you will always remember! The cocktails are fine, the service can vary - but the atmosphere is so fun and kitschy.

Carry On Phoenix is a really cool concept, and I’ll give credit where it’s due — the overall experience is very well executed. The plane theme, set design, and ambiance are immersive and thoughtfully done, and it genuinely feels like a unique, curated experience when you first arrive.

That said, speaking as someone who has worked in hospitality management for over 13 years, the logistics and value do not fully match the premium price point. There was no email or clear communication with instructions on how to get there, nor any indication ahead of time that guests needed to go to Wren & Wolf first to receive their ticket. That lack of basic guidance was confusing and unnecessary for an experience positioned as elevated and well-orchestrated.

The food and beverage execution was also extremely disappointing. The mocktail options were honestly horrible for the price — very limited, poorly balanced, and lacking any sense of creativity or refinement.

The advertised “Michelin star tacos” were another major letdown. What was served were three very small tacos, each with a basic shell and essentially one small piece of meat. There was nothing elevated, generous, or memorable about them, especially considering how heavily they are marketed.

Overall, the concept and atmosphere are strong, but the effort, communication, and value of the food and non-alcoholic beverage offerings do not align with what guests are paying for. I would not return unless there is a significant upgrade to the food and beverage experience and clearer execution around guest logistics.

Not worth the hype and hassle of reservations. They have a very nice themed cocktail bar in an intimate atmosphere. The food is subpar, and the drinks are just ok. The staff is very friendly and adds to the atmosphere of being on a plane.
