Very disappointed, you hope for a gastronomical experience when you eat out, but just very disappointed with everything; from the food taste, and paper and plastic plate the food dishes were served, to the overpriced food specially the halo halo was not well worth the price of $10. I'm sorry I have to be honest and hopefully you will take these criticism well.

While visiting Phoenix we went here with our cousin and her husband. We were greeted by Tony and Tess Menendez, the owners and staff at this combined bakery/restaurant, and a very pleasant welcoming couple. The pastries looked good, but we were there for some real food. Between the four of us we ordered chicken adobo, kare-kare, pancit luglug and torta talong along with some lumpia Shanghai for and appetizer. The torta talong was mine and I ate the whole thing, with minimal sharing. It was delicious. My wife tried her cousins kare-kare and ordered a second dish, she liked it so much. All in all, a very relaxed atmosphere with delicious food and pleasant hosts. We would definitely come back here when we are in the Phoenix area.

My coworker and I visited for lunch and were highly disappointed. The food was subpar and overpriced. Both entrees came with rice and noodles, both very bland. My beef entree was very salty; the meat was tender but it's probably because of the abundance of soy sauce used. My coworker's pork entree w/ liver sauce was basically all fat and a few hard pieces of meat, and the sauce definitely wasn't a liver sauce. The lumpia was good though... The food was hardly edible, so we requested to go boxes instead of sending the food back but ultimately left hungry.
The total for the two entrees and appetizer was $50! Per the item prices on the menu the total for the meal should have been $40 at best. When my coworker questioned the amount charged, he was given back $10 cash in haste with an attitude instead of an itemized receipt.

The food is fantastic and authentic, and the desserts and baked goods are out of this world.
People are friendly and welcoming and sometimes there is karaoke ❤️

If you like guilt tripping sales tactics, freezer burnt old chicken, flavorless food, and paper plates, this place is your spot.

Place will be out of business by next month at this rate.

Another year in the books. Fingers and toes are not enough ,well, if you multiply. My girl always picks us a new place to try .First time trying Filipino food, and she ordered a couple entrée plus dessert and drinks, a delicious and refreshing mango juice. Tucked away in the corner is where you'll find the place small, quiet with light jazz playing in the background, very relaxing and enjoyable . Pictured.... chicken adobo so soft it fell of the bone , also pork belly with a mystery sauce wasn't a big fan of the fat but it's the flavor, very unique also pictured lumpia with sweet and sour sauce I hit those hard each plate came with rice and rice noodles. The table desserts are UBE cheesecake, purple round thing, and halo halo-a frozen drink with UBE ice cream and flan on top filled with coconut, jam jelly pieces. Then we hit the bakery on the way out, scored three tarts, UBE, COCONUT, and TARO, each having a distinct texture spectacular. Small flan and three buns filled with coconut, chocolate, and ube. Everything was unique and enjoyable.

Great menu varieties! The food is incredible! This is a hidden gem in the back of the Big Lots shopping center. Right next to the restaurant supply store. Be sure to swing in and try something new.

It's our first time in this restaurant and we were so excited. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience. They wanted us to stand despite still eating, all because they needed the table – like, what's that about? I decided to pay in cash to avoid any extra charges, but the guy insisted I use a card instead since they didn't have change. Not again!
