This establishment is cute but the young lady working there when I visited for the first time had the MOST HORRIBLE customer service skills!!! Lorena I think her name is. She didn't acknowledge anyone that walked in. She spoke to people she knew. You could tell by the conversation they knew each other; otherwise, she didn't speak unless she knew you. She offered no assistance. She didn't speak until spoken too. I decided not to give this place any of my money. This little place just missed an opportunity for my referral to a famous DJ and producer. I've always been taught you never know who is in your presence so always be your best self!!!

Funny because the gentlemen working the counter, greeted people as they walked in. They assisted with menu options and were very polite and friendly. If they were my first impression I definitely would have asked to talk to the owner.

****Thank you to the owner for responding. I tried to call the number given below but the number is not working. I was in the coffee shop Tuesday, Sept. 30th between 4-530. My apologies on the young lady's name. She was wearing gold jewelry and that was the name on her necklace. The spelling could be incorrect. ****

Case Study Coffee Lounge is hands down one of my favorite study spots in Phoenix. The space is calm without being sterile, there are comfy chairs, armchairs and long tables, so whether I want to spread out with books or fit in with my laptop and notebook, there’s a good spot. The coffee is excellent, especially their seasonal/little-twisty drinks like the rosemary-vanilla latte and brown sugar sage latte. The staff are friendly and respectful of the vibe; the food (savory crepes, avocado toast, quiches) is great when I need to refuel. If you want somewhere to get work done (quiet background noise, reliable wifi, decent hours), this is one place I return to regularly.

So many unique touches in this place, and a bomb flat white to boot. Highly recommend

Cool space but it's probably full often so not sure how to feel about that. The guava matcha is good but a little pricey and sweet (can't taste too much of the matcha) and they no longer have crepes so that was a bummer.

Great place to lounge and study. It can get busy and then it gets awkward because the walkways get narrow when some seats are occupied. It felt cramped so we just left after we got our drinks. The coffee was good and the specialties we thought were executed well. Across the board in my group, we were not fans of the matcha guava. Although guava flavor was present, the taste was predominantly milk like many other coffee spots with matcha we come across. Worth a stop for anything else though!

There seems to be a new barista every other week, which makes you wonder why this shop has such a hard time keeping staff. They used to have a wonderful team that prioritized quality and hospitality, but those familiar faces are gone. No joke—I’ve seen maybe 5 or 6 total crew turnovers since. I’ve been coming here multiple times a week for over a year, and no one even acknowledges me anymore.

The coffee is inconsistent—likely because someone new is always in training—and the housemade syrups vary in strength from day to day. The burritos were the same: hit-or-miss depending on who was in the kitchen, and usually sold out before 10 a.m.

For the price, I wish they valued loyal customers more. Moxie is right across the street charging the same prices, same tier coffee, but their baristas have been there for years, they offer Mark Chacónne pastries, and they make regulars feel seen.

For the price point, I just wish they’d get the fundamentals right—consistency and hospitality.

Love this place - high quality coffee and good food with a perfect clean atmosphere for lounging or getting some work done. My absolute favorite drink is their seasonal guava matcha! The espresso is delicious, I have even purchased their beans for use at home.

Such a cool spot. The guava matcha (seasonal) is life changing. If you like a touch of sweet in your espresso drinks, they use the perfect amount of syrup. Amazing homemade “pop tarts”. Breakfast burritos can be amazing to just okay depending on the chef that day. Sometimes can’t find a seat.
