I went to case study today and specifically asked for a decaf specialty drink which is a bit unusual for me as I love my lattes but it was 3pm so didn't want to be up all night. After finishing the drink I felt an immediate anxiety come on as I realized that it was not decaf and in fact was full caffeine. Here I am at 11:30pm staring at the ceiling, I have been to many coffee shops all over the valley this is one that I will never return to. The vibe is off, the girls were horribly rude and when I told them of their mistake they looked at me like I was crazy. Do not go to this place with so many coffee shops around the valley this is subpar at best. Decaf does not make you nauseous and awake at almost midnight as I have many coffee drinks throughout the day and this frankly has never happened at any other coffee shop in the valley.

NO CREPES. just so you know. They stopped selling crepes in 2024.
What they do sell is delicious. Still worth coming here!

What a neat place in an unexpected location. Just got a coffee to go cuz I was in the area and it was beyond worth it. Their coffee menu is quite interesting and they make them with quality. I can imagine the food is the same.

Stopped into Case Study Coffee Lounge with a friend who’s a full-on regular (and myself, a proud Case Study virgin), and I’m happy to report this place absolutely understood the assignment.
She ordered the Dark Horse, while I went with a drink whose name I cannot recall… but I can tell you it involved ginger beer, apple, and espresso, and it was unexpectedly delightful in a “why is this so good and why don’t I order things like this more often?” kind of way.
The vibes and atmosphere are spot on: clean, modern, warm, and effortlessly cool. It’s the perfect place to work, study, or catch up with old friends to unpack life… or, more realistically, talk about boy drama (stupid boys). The seating layout makes it easy to linger without feeling rushed, which I deeply respect in a coffee shop.
The baristas were amazing friendly, welcoming, and exactly what you hope for from an independent coffee spot. I didn’t catch our barista’s name, but she was incredibly kind and patient while I stood there humming and ha-ing over the menu like it was a life decision. Bless her.
Price point was exactly what I’d expect for a quality local coffee shop in Phoenix, fair, reasonable, and worth it. And bonus points for something that should not be rare but somehow is: parking.
10/10 would recommend. I’ll absolutely be back the next time I need caffeine, good vibes, and a safe space to process the fact that Beau has, once again, inevitably upset me.

Friendly staff, delicious chai, good bassy pop music (but not too loud), and a spacious back workspace with big tables.

The butter croissant didn’t survive long enough for a photo 😄. This was my first time visiting, and I will definitely be back! Great atmosphere, wonderful energy, and lovely decorations. Thank you for keeping everything so clean — it really makes a difference.

Stopped by Case Study Coffee in Midtown Phoenix and really loved it. The place is cute and chic, with a great setup for both working and relaxing. They’ve got desks if you want to get things done and comfy sofas if you just want to lounge with a coffee.
Tried their seasonal Dark Horse coffee and it was amazing. Smooth, flavorful, and honestly one of the better cups I’ve had in a while.
Great coffee, great vibe, and a perfect spot to sit down for a bit. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

The world needs more people like Will and his passion. I met Will this Sunday when he graciously brought hot coffee for all the parents at my daughter's basketball practice. He brough an amazing spread of his single origin coffee and various milks and sweeetners. It was amazing to hear about his life story and translating his passion for wood working to fine coffee. Will is truly a coffee genius and we are fortunate to benefit from his passion if you adore a wonderful cup of coffee. I can't wait to visit Case Study Coffee to try out the various drinks and food as well as to purchase a bag of freshly roasted beans for home. Keep up the great work and keep smiling :-)
