I always enjoy the events here, but today it was awful. All it takes is one bad experience and Zuri was our server. The show was good but the service was the worst I have ever had. Took over an hour for my first drink. Asked about it by flagging her down all she said was we are super slammed as I watched a lot of other tables on there 2nd or 3rd drink. The others servers were great way more helpful than our server. The people in front of us never even got their drinks and they were there the entire time.they got charged the 2 drink minimum but never got their drinks. Horrible service. Would never come back to improve don’t want that experience again.

When there is a full house, good luck getting food or drinks. You will wait a LONG time for service. If you have a chance to do Tempe improv - do that instead. You will get service and not have to ruin your neck in pain to see the stage. Desert ridge packs you into tables like sardines so ppl in the middle can’t even communicate with the waiter or waitress. The shows are good, but we pay to see the comedians. We don’t want to pay for crappy environment or service. It’s unfortunate that the tables are set up the way they are so you have to turn sideways and “hope” to see someone walking by to ask you if you need anything. I’m super disappointed in this business and likely won’t be back. Waiting over 30 min for a drink is just bad business. Hire more ppl or get smaller tables.

Show was great but drink service was horrible. Took forever to get our drinks. Waited quite some time just to get our drink ordered then was told we can't order food till the drinks came. This is happening at the end of the 1st act. 2nd act started still no drinks but was finally allowed to place a food order which came promptly but still no drinks. We were given waters middle of 2nd act. Drinks finally came but wasn't what I ordered gin and Jim beam sound kinda alike in a noise atmosphere. At this point I didn't care just happy to finally get a drink.

Disappointed in the VIP Seating Experience

I attended a show at Desert Ridge Improv this evening, and while the comedians were fantastic, the experience was severely tainted by the seating arrangement. I had purchased VIP tickets, expecting a more comfortable and exclusive experience, but instead, I was crammed in like sardines with no room to move. It was incredibly uncomfortable for me and the people around me, all of whom paid extra for what we expected to be better seating.

We had a very bad experience if you are handicap this is not the venue for you they are not handicap friendly we were made to feel really out of place and like we didn’t belong there and we paid just like everyone else to be so miserable unwelcome.

Hire more servers, could not get in for show start time, did not get to have a drink,

It's not rocket science, you are busy for the couple of hours for the show, get your own act sorted out

Their method of getting people in the doors for a show are terrible! The show even 40 minutes late was good.

Awesome comedy show but the venue are absolute snakes $55 bucket which is whatever but an uncharge of over $20 added on for nothing is outrageous

Went for a comedy show that was good but the 2 drink minimum is ridiculous with $19 cocktails.

I went to see Corey B on Sunday March 23, 2025. The show was AMAZING but our waiter was HORRIBLE!! We paid for VIP and normally VIP gets taken care of first right?? We sat down and the generally admission table behind us got their drinks and food order before pur waiter even came to speak to us! We were sitting there for 30 min before we asked for a waiter. We wanted to know what was in a few of the specialty drinks, he didn't know. He had to go ask. Then had attitude when we asked him to find out. We ordered our drinks with TWO waters and our food with TWO ranches. We got our drinks with NO water then got pur food with NO ranch. We asked for ranch then immediately brought it out. We asked someone for our water and they had to go find our waiter. People next to us had the same issues with waiting for the waiter to gets drinks. He finally came to them after an hour. They were out of half the stuff the people wanted to oder. The waiter finally came with their drinks and he spilled them all over the customers.

Then tried to blame everything being out due to Saturday being busy and thought ir was no big deal. If your Saturdays are busy, then order extra for Sundays.

Please make sure your waiters know what's in the drinks

Great venue, great comedy. Good food and even better service. But the drinks are too pricey and they require a 2 drink minimum. Maybe they should waive that requirement for a minimum spend per person. Our dinner was $117 for a burger and nachos. The alcohol was $60 of that. When you pay $75 for tix on top of this, that's a bit over the top.

We went to see the 7pm Adam Carolla show last night. We were seated by 6:30 and we did not have VIP so we were in the back, which was great because we were elevated just a little bit and could see and hear everything just perfect.
There was a message on the screen to please be patient because they had a new POS system and they were working out the kinks. However!!! They DID NOT say there would be no server to come to you. I am not even kidding. We were not acknowledged, nor served a drink THE ENTIRE SHOW!
After being there about an hour and a half, an employee came by to hand out waters to our section. It was strange. They put one water on our table of 3 because it was the last one on the tray. Then another employee came by with a tray of water and walked to the next table and passed water to each of them. NOT ONCE, did they say would you like something to drink. Obviously we were not going to be able to do the 2-drink minimum. About a half hour before the show was over they brought us a coupon for another show. BUT, with restrictions, of course.
We are also in the service industry so we have a lot of patience when it comes to seeing servers in the weeds, etc. The notice shouldn't have said be patient because of the new POS, it should have said, we are short 4 servers so you may not be waited on. One table in our section received drinks. Nobody else in that entire back section of the venue had a server. Not to mention, the tables right in front of us waited over an hour and only had one round.
Needless to say, your venue lost out on hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in food and beverage sales last night.

Terrible customer service. I went in to buy a gift card just now at 7:10 PM. No one was at the box office, but there was a bouncer at the door. I let him know I wanted to buy a gift card, and he said, “There is no one at the box office right now, so you can’t buy one.” He made no effort to radio someone to return to the box office or let me know the best time to come back. So disappointing!

It's a very nice venue. Their drink selection is good. My server was super friendly and I could not have asked for better. It was very crowded and everything was great except for the employee who literally PUSHED me (a disabled person who needs a cane to walk) to get the merch table onto the stage and I almost fell. He didn't acknowledge it or say anything. Like I wasn't even there. Sad to treat anyone that way let alone a disabled person.
