This place is a JOKE with there drinks ! I don’t mind paying $20 a drink if it was not a shot glass size. Free tickets- now I see why- 4 drinks $80 - don’t waste ur time n money
The pizza was pretty good. I wasn't overly impressed with the sub, and none of us were very big fans of the garlic bread. I wouldn't rate this place right in the middle with 3 stars, making it average overall, had it not been for the onion rings. I can honestly say that the onion rings were some of the best I ever had and the reason I decided to bump my rating from a 3 to a 4 star. I'm not sure about everything else, but I'd go back from them alone.
I had a great time at the Improv last night with my friends! The Improv brings in great comedians and Annie Lederman was no exception! Pricing is fair even with a two drink minimum.
We attended the 6 PM show at Desert Ridge Comedy Club to see Annie Lederman for my wife’s birthday, and it was an absolute blast! Annie was hilarious, and the MC, Aldo, was a great addition to the night. Our waitress, Chelsea, was fantastic—super personable, attentive, and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Had a great time due they're Drag Brunch Selena theme
Great time always a blast!
Go for Drag Brunch every weekend! Love it
Staff was super friendly, Amir K was super funny. Ken and Jacqueline were good.
Service is slow, our server - Noah - walked by us several times without checking in. There was a lot of focus on a long front table.
We had to flag him down, and I had to ask for an iced tea more than once. Noah said it would be on the house, but we were then charged for it. It's not a huge deal, it was just more irritating considering how often he walked by, but didn't check in.
I came to see Bill Garnell and I loved it.bill was and is just totally awesome!I was honored just to be in the same room w the man ,and the2 preceding comics were just absolutely great also.service was a tad slow but it certainly wasn’t because the girls were slow or inattentive, they had a big job to do at the same time they were all very kind and courteous. If I had one complaint I would have to say ,that having to sit on those stools for a couple of hours was really a bit uncomfortable, but I would and will be doing it all over again because I literally had an awesome night of fun. Ate at barrio queen beforehand, the service was great, the drinks were had ordered from the bar were great but the food not so much.we both ordered enchiladas plates and they were small w really nothing in them.the Spanish rice and refried beans sparse and very bland.
Okay so we go to see a comedian at this place name flip Morley. Mr Morley presents himself as a comedian / hypnotist. Naturally I went there expecting both. Comedian maybe on a low level was somewhat funny but not really and the hypnotist part was totally fake. I'm sorry but when you advertise yourself as something then that's what I expect but I was fooled. Although pretty funny as to what he did he was no hypnotist. Funny enough.
Midway through the performance we were addressed by management telling us that we were too loud. No mention of the 20 or 30 other people at the venue that were equally as loud. All in all it was a chaotic robust show and you couldn't help but leave be loud and get into it. Shortly after we were reprimanded you could hear two of the food servers being extremely loud taking orders and talking to people. I turned around and told them to hush as well. After the performance I addressed the manager who reprimanded us and she was completely belligerent to the fact that she was out of line. I agree if we were too loud she should have said something but in a more professional polite way. when I told her there's other people being just as noisy as well as her staff she threw her hands up and walked away.
If you're given a choice to go to The improv in Tempe or downtown Phoenix I would go that direction and steer away from the one at desert ridge. The place sucks
Another guest kept shoving his chair into my ribs, but the show and wait staff were amazing.
Restaurantji Recommends
Recently went with my husband had a great time. The staff was excellent, Billy Gardell gave a great show, highly recommend
Some of the waitstaff are immature making the experience not enjoyable. There are better comedy clubs in the valley. Also the seating arrangement is not the best, very tight and awkward.
We had such a lovely time celebrating our friend’s birthday at the Jersey Drag Brunch. Marleigh, The Drag Artists: Alexander Stryke, Espressa Grandé, Franc, Benny were wonderful!!
Very disappointed I took my dad to see Billy Gardell last night and we got VIP tickets complete waste of money we got sat right in front of the stage but the kicker is the tables are facing away from the stage so we had to turn to see the show also after spending $90 on tickets we then proceeded to pay $56 (before tip) for 2 Red Bulls and 2 espresso martinis that were so weak I couldn’t even taste the vodka the staff was nice and the emcee and comics were funny but I’m never coming back don’t waste your time energy or money find a real comedy club in the area
Wow. For the price of food and drinks, either hire more and more competent staff or lower prices. If you can go to Tempe Improve, DO IT instead!!!
