Parking here isnt for the weak! However they do validate parking. My friends and I ate dinner here, the service was okay. The drink menu doesn't not give an accurate description of what is in each drink, it wasnt much to choose from I ordered a drink, however I didnt drink it. The taste was awful! The restaurant wasnt busy at all, even though we had to wait 45 minutes to eat, when we did get our food. The greens were cold, had to send them back to the kitchen to warm up, they were very spicy, I didn't know they were cooked with jelopeno peppers, the cornbread was hard as a brick! The waitress advised us the bread was hard due to it being thr end of the night and the restaurant was going to be closing soon. I assume that meant if we get there later in the evening we will get what we get! We ended up still paying full price for each of our meals. I must say I will not be a returning customer.

CC’s on Central. Let’s start by saying, WOW! Totally exceeded all expectations! Comfort food prepared with pure LOVE!!
If Soul Food is something that you enjoy. Well, this is the place to dine when in Phoenix. The Jambalaya was by far the best I ever had! My family enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits, Red Beans & Rice, Fried Shrimp, Mac & Cheese and Collards Greens. Everything was great and Ms. Sharon provided more than enough to eat.
Awesome place!

Just was not impressed. The bathroom isn't in side the restaurant you must go to another suite. I ordered 1 piece catfish with 2 sides and 1 beer $30.00.

We’d had CCS on Central bookmarked for a while and were excited to finally visit, but it fell short. I ordered the Tasty Three (jambalaya, red beans and rice, shrimp and grits) and nothing tasted seasoned well; my aunt’s fried chicken wings were overcooked with little meat. The biscuits and cornbread were served at room temperature, and service was slow with no check-ins, at least not until after we’d already finished, leaving no chance to have anything replaced. The facilities were clean and manager CiCi (Cierra, not the owner) was kind. I wouldn’t say the food was expensive, but price always factors into whether I consider something “worth it,” and even if the meal cost half as much, I’d still feel the same way , I wouldn’t recommend it and I wouldn’t return.

My friends took me here for my birthday. And I must say the food was delicious and the owner was so welcoming.
I really enjoyed myself and I will be going back to support their business. I had a very good experience.

We had a really great time visiting establishment. Everything was great tasting. I'm not a catfish person but I ate it and was cooked to profection. Fried chicken was on point. Red and Blue velvet cake were amazing. I didn't taste anything that wasn't good. CC you need more foot traffic more people can be CCed. Thanks Lil sis for finding this place. When i come to Phoenix I will be going back to CC on central. What a blessing to have good food and get to speak to the host, the chief, and the owner on the first. Great first impression, I'm sure if you stop by and get CCed. Thank you Cecilia for sharing your amazing food with us.

The food is very good. Service was good. It was very difficult to locate the first time. There is no restroom within the restaurant.
Sadly very inconsistent. Wanted to support black owned business but the service was horrible. Food came out cold. Server seemed bother like he had better things to do. Some random woman also was serving us and had a nasty attitude when inquiring about items in the menu. Smh we got to do better. Will not recommend or return!
BABY! LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING! I ordered the Shrimp Étouffée from here! FIRE! PERIOD! I could have kissed my Doordash driver and blessed the cook who laid hands on this meal! The cornbread was a little sweet, moist, and buttery. The shrimp were plentiful and fat. Baby, I got on Tik Tok and gave them a review within the first two bites. A lot of food is mid in Phoenix that I've had. THIS ONE! If I ever come back to Phoenix after leaving this weekend, it will be to eat this meal again. Phenomenal, and well worth the mention.
CC's on Central is a must try if you like Southern food. If you like shrimp and grits these will set a new standard for what greatness tastes like! Definitely one of the best shrimp and grits I have ever had! Thank you for a great lunch 💕
