I’m blown away Cha Cha’s tea lounge is no more. I would come here just about every day for tea. Now no reason to. It’s now a Kava bar they don’t serve the pastries or food anymore? what was once a quaint tea shop that was passionate about tea, health and the community is gone. I’m not sure what the “New” vibe is but you can’t feel it. I’m sad.

Cha Cha's is my favorite indulgence! The staff are kind and welcoming, and the drinks and food are all delicious. The ambience is productive and studious at no cost to warmth and coziness. I expect Cha Cha's to provide Phoenix with great joy for many years to come, and I am grateful for its role in our community.

Cutest little kava bar I've ever been to. Hands down best place to come alone to study, work, or socialize. Felt very grounded and safe.

Workers are overworked and underpaid. I used to love this place but I can’t support it anymore due to the overwhelming terrible things I have heard from the present and prior employees about their employment experience here. Old management wasn’t great but new management is apparently even worse. I feel like it also reflects in the overall ambiance and quality of the product.

This WAS the hidden gem of phoenix. I use to love coming here for the cozy and welcoming atmosphere and their CBD matcha. Sad to say since the new owners this past year came in, it hasn't been quite the same. It's lacking the warmth and love that it once had... Really pray that the business will turn around for the better, until then won't be showing this place off to my friends.

This was a hidden gem & best tea spot in the state. Under the new ownership, the prices are higher…$8.50 for a matcha tea??!! ? unacceptable! The music was loud and chaotic, not positive, eclectic, vibey. I also came to eat and the kitchen is closed through the year?! So glad to see the favs still on the drink and food menu. I wouldn’t come otherwise. But very sad they don’t sell the tatter waffle sides anymore and it was really hard to read the printed menu…weird small font and hard to read layout. Also hard to read the wall menus, now awkwardly placed. You have to ask for the kava menu?…should just be available with the other menu. Didn’t have the same friendly energetic yet chill come as you are vibe as before. Has a darker and hallow vibe now. I’m really sad it seems our treasured Cha Cha’s is never more. Please save it!! It’s so special and important for the community!! I used to come weekly!!

So happy this place became a kava bar such an amazing change! Kava is such a beneficial plant and it’s so wonderful to see it being shared more! 10/10 would recommend!

I used to come everyday and drive 40 minutes for their matcha but since this past year with their changes, I’m super disappointed with the direction they have taken this place. Drinks are unaffordable now almost $9… no dairy options anymore. People are allergic to alternatives btw and not everyone is vegan. Tarot card readings now at night and I get with Halloween tis the season but Satanic symbolism on their artwork isn’t the vibe and kinda uncomfortable. Beyond upsetting the direction this place went. It was so much more comfortable and inclusive before. Also, service is a lot slower now, I waited 30 minutes in line and couldn’t even get to order my drink one day because it wasn’t moving.

Huge change in atmosphere.Doesn’t feel as cozy.Lost a gem when the og owners sold it.More focused on kava than the tea. Feels sort of cold. Don’t feel like it was necessary for such a large bar area to occupy such a small space.

I love that Cha Chas is a late-night friendly and relaxing place. It used to feel very homey, but the new renovations make it seem less so. They have a large bar now that dominates the space, getting rid of half the seating, and got rid of all the cute things they used to sell like tea sets, tea blends, and pins. There's also less of the plant entry way setup that I felt was so welcoming. I'm glad they kept the two window setting areas and hope that never changes. Maybe once they've settled in with the new bar setup, it will feel more cozy. Hoping for the best because I truly do love this spot which is why I still rate it so high.
