My favorite go-to for take out thai🥰 it is delicious!
Down side...Sadly, staff closes 1 hour before actually closing time. So if you would like your take out get it before 7pm!

A few weeks ago I ordered a duck curry from one of the 2 restaurants. Then froze it and just ate some this morning. The duck pieces were tough or the wrong parts, skin, and little bones. Someone made a mistake.

Great place to get Thai, very busy spot. You have to go at the right time to get a table or your waiting to be seated.

The food was delicious and the staff was super friendly, especially the young gentleman at the counter. The portion size was large, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely eat here again!

Chanpen Thai Cuisine is my favorite Thai restaurant. The restaurant may not look like much on the outside, but its food is among the best Thai in the Phoenix area. While it is a bit of a drive for me, the drive is worth it.
The restaurant is tiny, with only a few tables and booths to sit at. They are more popular as a takeout restaurant. Both times I have been thus far, I have dined in the restaurant. The first time I went, I got their chicken chow mein, which was some of the best chow mein I have ever had. On my most recent visit, I got their yellow curry with chicken. It was some of the best yellow curry I have ever had. Both dishes were loaded with flavor and tasted authentic. One of my closest friends and his girlfriend came with me, and they said it was some of the best Thai food they have ever had as well.
The service is friendly and efficient. Both times I have walked in, I have been greeted with a warm smile by one of the staff members. I ended up getting there before they opened on my most recent visit, and they apologized for making me have to wait for them to open. However, since it was my day off, I had no issue with waiting, and it was perfect weather out. The wait was worth it.
Both times I have gone there, they have even offered free ice cream, which was a delightful bonus. On the first visit, I had their fried banana with ice cream, and they were a perfect pairing. Highly recommend trying it if you are in the mood for dessert.
For such excellent Thai food, their prices are not only reasonable, but they also have generous portion sizes.
If anyone is looking for a great, authentic Thai restaurant in the Phoenix area, look no further. Chanpen Thai Cuisine is among the best Thai food Arizona has to offer.

Great authentic Thai. Quick service. Very small, limited seating.
Decided to eat here because it had high rating and great reviews. The people did not lie! The parking lot even though it was small was full. The same could be said about the restaurant. And people were waiting at 12:45pm on a week day. We had lunch specials, chicken pad Thai and sweet & sour chicken. Served with a vegetable soup, and strawberry ice cream with nuts. Food was delicious and the perfect temperature. We gave our order while we waited for an available table. Which meant our food came out a minute after we sat down.

Fabulous little spot we luckily found first stop from our flight in from Florida ! Delicious EVERYTHING and fantastic customer service!!! Our waitress was kind, patient and very attentive and brought out the most delectable dessert of fried banana and waters to go! Intimate atmosphere and very accommodating we will surely come back!! We got cashew nut, pad Thai, yellow curry with bean curry and red curry with bean curd!! So so delicious !!!

This place is small but very busy! I visited on a Thursday for lunch and there was a constant stream of take out orders and dine in guests.
Why my rating?
Food is meh. I had a green curry and lunch special pad thai. The green curry was good, but the chicken in it was not very trustworthy. Just as the pad thai, the chicken had a weird flavor. Pad thai was very, very sweet.
My main concern with this location is how dirty it all is. I get it, is a small restaurant with a small dinning room and small kitchen. Floors were dirty, right before coming in there was a roach outside the door, the small glimpse of the kitchen looked like very dirty (floors, walls, ceiling).
The guy at check out was really nice! But... that's my only positive.
I really don't get the 4.8 stars.

This place is still as tasty as ever. It’s a small spot that stays busy with takeout orders, but the food never disappoints. My go-to potstickers, masamun curry, and Thai iced coffee were all perfect again.

I normally love hole in the wall places but not when the biggest cockroach that I’ve ever seen in my life starts crawling on my coworkers shoulder and I have to swat it away with chopsticks :)
Other than that… service was nice and food was good
