Food was good but not great. My family and I had brunch. I enjoyed the breakfast flautas but the green pozole was strongly lacking in flavor. The coconut french toast also didn't taste like coconut and arrived burnt.
The creative menu items are gone. And we were told the menu is changing again. Hopefully it's for the better. The chips and salsa are still superb. The sangria has also taken a vacation. Tasted like a fruit punch soda water mix. Gone is the wine and the presentation. Gonna take a break from dining here for a while and hope for some improvement when I return.
Pretty decent experience overall. Food was decent but a few dishes lacked flavor. Sat in the bar which was nice. It was pretty slow so the place felt empty but the actual building was beautiful!
We had a lovely visit with our friends as Chantico. The food and beverages were delicious and the space is well designed. Our server was friendly and attentive. We had a great experience.
I took a long-term client of mine to dinner here and Chantico made the experience perfect. The waitstaff were very tentative and worked with us very well. They were flexible and had wonderful recommendations for us. We even sat in a private room which allowed us all to talk among ourselves. Overall it was a wonderful dining experience at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!
Celebrated a big birthday last night with a terrific server. Was disappointed however that we were unable to order from the happy hour menu unless we were seated at the bar which would have been difficult for our party of 6.
Came in for restaurant week with some friends. Tragically the food was very mediocre. I ordered from the restaurant week menu. I ordered the bone marrow, beef ribs and tres leches cake. The bone marrow was very salty and drenched In oil, the beef ribs were burnt and very very salty. And lastly the tres leches cake was very dry. I ate very little of each plate. I have been here before, and it was great! Very disappointing knowing the quality could have been better especially during the restaurant week. We sent food back and our servers did not mention if we enjoyed it or anything, very odd.

My wife and I came to enjoy date night and much needed break. My food was AMAZING! I ordered the Tuna Crudo and fish tacos. The 1st bite drew me in immediately. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to completely enjoy because less than a minute later the entrees arrived. My wife's entire order was brought incorrectly and the Queso Blanco was overlooked. She ordered a Passion Fruit margarita with a sugar rim and received a regular margarita with a salt rim. Her dinner order was the sweet potato enchiladas. She couldn't decide on the red sauce or the mole so we requested both sauces on the side. She received the mole sauce ON the enchiladas. The sauce was delicious however for my wife it wasn't the taste she wanted. Overall, the experience was tainted due to the servers not paying attention to details.
The waiter we had was so unattentive maybe because we were a big party she would get a tip regardless. We waited what seemed like forever to get simple things. The manager was pretty nice. The server just seemed like she didn't care that we were all set. We were charged for a desert fee of 25 dollars but they didn't serve the desert at all. We had to ask for plates and knives. I used to like this place a lot but I won't be back.
My husband and I went for restaurant week last night. We had early 5:30 reservations so we could enjoy our date in a leisurely manner. There was hardly anyone there when we arrived or when we left. We loved the food. We did not like how we were rushed through the three courses including the check. We did not want to order all three courses at the same time. We were told specifically that they will be spaced. Our 2nd course/entree got there as soon as we finished our 1st course. The 3rd course came immediately while our dinner plates were still in front of us. Then the bill came immediately. We would have ordered one of their pricey after dinner drinks. But we were not given that option. It was $44 per head. We spent about $200 bc of a cocktail n wine. We would have spent easily another few bucks. We had gone to another restaurant the night before for restaurant week and were absolutely not rushed in spite the fact they were super packed. We like restaurants appreciating our business.

I really enjoyed chantico first few years they opened. They had plenty of vegan options and customization. The vegan chorizo flautas were great but the selection and quality has deteriorated notably this year. I think they could really up their ante with value for customization and vegan options . Case in point, my burrito was just filled with beans and rice. I think they could put a bit more effort into making a burrito that is more unique and priced fairly if its only vegetables. Also the drink quality was good but not as good as i remember years past. Of note, weve been coming here for all the big occasions my family visits or friends.
Great place for happy hour with girlfriends! Who doesn't love margaritas, chips and salsa! Service was fantastic and food portions were good sized and shareable. Margaritas were great too!
The enchilada plates we ordered were overdone, dry and tough. I ordered green sauce and my partner had red sauce. Both our meals had very little sauce. Staff and building exterior and interior were very good. Nice bar area and several separate seating spaces.
Food took well over a hour to come out, once it did it was completely over cooked and dry(chicken) really disappointed because I chose this place to bring my mother for Mother's Day. Server was great. They did remove the over cooked meal but I guess I'm old school and expected management to come by and address our experience. My wife and I have eaten here 8 times in the past and have always had a good experience, that's why we choose it for Mother's Day. I just figured they would expect Mother's Day to be crazy busy and would be more prepared. Not say we won't come back, but it will be a long while before we do.
I love coming here because the food and ambiance are usually great. This time the music was so loud on the patio we couldn't have a conversation outside of the person sitting next to you and we were a table of six. The blue corn tortilla on the Tyluda was flour and the blue corn pancake wasn't blue corn at all nor was it cooked all the way through. When I mentioned they seemed to be out of blue corn it was dismissed. Not the normal experience but this is my second time coming on a holiday brunch and both holidays (Easter 2023 & Mother's Day 2024) were subpar compared to their normal brunch experience.
