I was pretty hungry when I came in so I was glad there was no wait. As soon as I sat down the lady came and took my order answered any questions I have was very helpful and kind. It wasn't long before my food chain which was pretty good had a reasonable price.

Food was VERY DISAPPOINTING AND DISRESPECTFUL AND DISGUSTING FOR $50 my catfish was mushy NO FLAVOR WHAT SO EVER THEN MY BOYFRIEND GOT CHICKEN TENDERS AND IT WASNT TENDERS IDK IF IT WAS CHICKEN THIGH OR WHAT BUT DEFINITELY DARK MEAT GOOGEY SLIMY CHICKEN PIECES THAT TASTED BURNT JUST DO NOT EAT HERE EVERYTHING IS HIGH AND FOOD DOESNT MATCH

It looks like it’s just going to be the bomb doesn’t it? , but umm , the chicken wasn’t even seasoned I literally didn’t taste anything .. the potato salad was too sweet and the macaroni & cheese tasted like velveeta shells straight out the box .. nice appearance tho I’ll give them that.. the Charlie Mae’s that WAS on 51st Ave and southern had me in a choke hold but they closed that location and left me with this location ?

This whole experience made me sad. So not only did it forrrrever to get my food the 2 piece corn bread turn into 1. It was like was microwaved cause the center was hard and inedible and very sweet. My rice was hard and crunchy. Would not recommend.
This soul food restaurant had amazing food….. the customer service 30 min before closing was incredible, they customized my order due to Uber Eats menu was messed up. A simple phone call, and my order was corrected. Enjoy smothered pork chops, yams and cabbage…. Everything was seasoned good. I don’t usually lick my fingers however I did with those pork chops. Thank you for the amazing service
Not what I expected from a soul food restaurant. I was very disappointed in the food. I had the rib tips with Mac and cheese, and yams, my wife had the catfish po-boy. The rib tips were kind of cold with the bbq sauce just poured over the top, and the season or rub was not good it tasted like Perk season. The yams was under cooked they wasn't soft, they had a firm crunch, and the juice was gritty like the sugar or whatever they used was not totally dissolved. The mac and cheese was tasteless and warm. everything was sprinkled with parsley. My wife sandwich looked good, but the fish wasn't seasoned, and the green beans were bland. $70 wasted for people. As a chef of 20yrs that has grown up in a family soul food restaurant business, I was very disappointed ? with the taste and quality of the food.

I was having the worst day yesterday and everyone was so nice and the food was amazing. I couldn't have picked a better place to choose to stop in for a bite.I will definitely be returning over and over!Parking: There is a good size lot on the side of the building opposite the strip mall.

This is the worst food I've had in YEARS. TERRIBLE. Salty, pathetic portions (like, TWO shrimp??!), dried up, and the nastiest gamiest macaroni and cheese ever. I cannot believe I paid money for this garbage. Epic disappointment. Never again.

Food was absolutely delicious we were trying to go to another soul food restaurant but they were full and not taking any new customers, so we tried this place and it DID NOT disappoint, flavorful cornbread was off the charts fish fried to perfection chicken crispy, tasty, mac n cheese was amazing great food, ? wish we had one here in OKC!!
