The food was pretty pricey, the chicken was freaking amazing, however, the macaroni and cheese tasted as if it came from a box, the greens were not the best, and my peach cobbler had no crust I think I paid 6 or 6.50 for it no crust ? ‼️ I DON'T recommend the peach cobbler banana pudding, the peach cobbler had no crust, and the banana pudding had no vanilla wafers. The owner was like next timejust eat the amazing chicken. Next time? ? Never again!

Horrible!! Didn't get greeted, had questions about food on the menu. The lady came from the back and said she work in the morning so she don't know. My husband got a 30$ steak meal. It was cooked too long probably explain the size and the texture. The fish was mushy and the chicken was under cooked. Somebody was really heavy handed when It came to the salt. All and all I wouldn't feed this to my dog. Zero stars what a waste of money.Vegetarian options: Gross!! Save your taste buds.

Horrible place to eat. Ordered a 15$ pulled pork sandwich with seasoned fries. Came out as a small portioned pork chunk sandwich with crinkle cut frozen fries with no seasoning or even salt. They only offer 10$lemonades as drinks and don't tell you the price of the drinks upfront. Took over 40 min to get food that was extremely overpriced mediocrity for being lukewarm. Would not recommend to my worst enemy and feel like I was scammed after receiving the bill. There are so many better options for half the price. For the 25$total for lunch I would have expected to walk away full and not taken advantage of
I ordered on Uber Eats and let me tell you something, the food was so delicious! There are some price differences online but that’s my only concern. The pulled pork was tender, the breading on the fish was crunchy and seasoned nicely and the Mac and cheese was very good.

The food isn't really southern. However, I did leave a little disappointed. The service was great, but the food lacked character and flavor. I ate had the catfish, which was just ok. The breader could have had more flavor. The macaroni was the worst part of the meal. Which was disappointing as it is usually the star of the show, especially if there is an upcharge. It's not a Mac I would want at a cookout. The potato salad was a save. The red beans n rice were bland and watery.

1st time at Charlie Mae’s and it was a delight. The food was delicious and the restaurant looked cleaned. The portions were right for the price and the service although one person she was attentive, and courteous! We will definitely come back again.

I don't know what this is. A bit confused. I ordered Chicken Cpiotle pasta from the Uber eats menu. It doesn't taste bad it's alright, but it's not Chipotle chicken pasta ? The dish was described "penned pasta with honey drizzled chicken, red and green peppers, and a Chipotle cream sauce". There's plain diced chicken breast, cavatappi pasta, butter and cheese. There's no penne, no honey drizzled chicken, zero peppers, and it's buttered. No Chipotle cream sauce. They also added diced tomatoes which was not included on the menu otherwise i would have had them taken off bevaude i dont like them. Again it didn't taste bad it's a decent, basic bowl of buttered noodles. But it is not even in the same dimension of a Cajun pasta so I'm hoping they just have me the wrong menu item although idk what it could be. Could be worse that's for sure but definitely not ever gonna eat from here again, its as if someone got the order and took a wild guess on how to make it ?

I would NEVER recommend this God awful hole in the wall. It amazes me they're open or have business at all. The service was terrible, especially the older woman that works there. Not sure if she's overworked, frustrated or both, but her attitude was unwarranted and gross. Hopefully this miserable place closes down and she get the rest she needs.
