Food: great. No bad remarks to the food merchants. Drinks: strong, stable; not the greatest pours, but great for the price. Ambience: my friend was tossed out due to political indifference, really a shame. Gay republicans are not welcome here. Wish I could get a refund.

Visiting PHX and 2nd times at Charlie’s. Bartenders were great as usual, but this time I had a poor experience with one of the Gogo’s. I was sitting in the area right outside the bathroom and did not realize it was a dancing stage as others were also sitting there. Then one of the gogo’s got on and kicked my beer off, and pretended as if it never happened. I also then told him he could have just asked me to move when he got on, and he proceeded to say “I work here, I don’t need to apologize for anything.”
Don’t know if this was just a one off, but it just left a bad impression.

Came here last year was let in with no issue then came back again was denied entry without a passport. Canadian here and brought my drivers license and health card - this is the only bar that won’t let you in without a passport. 🤷🏽♂️

I don’t know if it’s because I’m from New York but the drinks TRASH/WEAK. One Long Island in New York trumps the 3 Gin and Tonics and 3 Long Islands I had here. The music for every track is very untz untz maybe because the crowd is predominantly white or Mexican. Everyone stands around conversing as opposed to dancing and enjoying the night out 🙄
Great time with my family for Halloween. Crazy fun time!

Love the outdoor area and the dance floor inside gets good too. Good music. Of the gay bars that I've been to in Phoenix so far, Charlie's seems to be THE spot. It's nice to have lots of areas to move around and listen to different types of music, and then be able to go outside and chill when the music is too loud inside. Very social and fun place.
