Holy smokes! The food is amazing. Noodles and tacos! Who'd a thought! Definitely coming back here again. Oh yes! The staff was great and helpful as well. The lamb birria ramen is delish! Definitely coming back!
Omg! How did I just find out about this place. It's definitely the DisneyLand for diet cheat days. The service is amazing, the frescas are so bomb you wanna ask for the ingredients list. And who can pass up bomb Chinese and Birria??? Who??? Tell me!!!Do yourself a favor and make a visit! SERIOUSLY!
This place is amazing I showed up 5min before they closed with my daughters and they helped us with a smile out their faces. Food is unbelievable. I now have a new spot Thank you so much.
Pretty good local establishment with great prices. I usually don't write reviews unless it is a good one and this place is good enough to get my support. I typically visit here at least once every 2-3 weeks. The only negative would be the nearby construction which unfortunately has made it difficult for the dozens of other businesses in the area.
First time here and not disappointed at all. The food was good and very filling! Loved the self serve counter. Self serve options are great (salsas, corn chips, oranges, tiramisu, onion, cilantro, cucumbers etc.)Very well kept and clean.
Delicioso! They have a nice variety on the menu. Enjoyed sampling 2 plates of shrimp, chicken, veggies, wontons, etc. My favorite was the fried rice and the nice little salsa bar! It included oranges, lemons, salsas, chips & more. The quesa burrias were good. I’d like to try the different meats.I will definitely come again!
So I decided to try something new. Chino-Mex was it. I used grubhub to get the food. I got the Quesabirrias Combo and 1 cheese wonton plus a Fresa. I got all three types of meat. I found that I liked the carne asada one the best. The lmab did have a bone in it but it was fine because it broke easily and large enough not to be a problem. One of the benefits of how long meats are cooked. This is the only reason it got a 4 out of 5 foe me. I got the beans and rice sides which were perfectly delicious. I love mixing the pair and they were just the right amount to make the prefect mix.BUT the star of the whole meal was definitely the sweet and sour sauce that came with my wonton. It was a purple hue which is different from all the other Chinese sweet and sour sauces that I've ever eaten. But let me tell you, that sauce rocked. It was a sweet flora flavor with just the right tang of sour. I saved it for last because I love wontons in general but I was so glad to have that perfect end to a great meal. Thanks for the great food! My pupper even wanted to try it.
First time comming here! I will surely be back again this birria tacos were BOMB!! They also were supper friendly!! Great service!!
The food was really good, but the biggest reason I'm giving this 5 stars is because of the service. I forgot to get her name, but the woman who helped us was so incredibly welcoming and attentive. She gave us suggestions, was patient with our ordering, and even gave us some freebies to try. The combination of Chinese and Mexican seemed a bit strange, but they ended up being great together! I highly recommend this place if you want simple but delicious options and if you want to be treated with respect and kindness.
If I could give a worse rating I would. We ordered Birria tacos to go and they looked perfectly fine, but they smelled like toilet & feces. Unfortunately I didn’t notice the foul smell until after taking a bite. We threw the food away immediately & today I have a 102 fever, I’m throwing up blood and I was confirmed to have food poisoning. I have never been so sick and miserable and disgusted in my life. Please. Don’t. Eat. Here. And yet I come onto the reviews and I’m SHOCKED to see how many people have given good ratings. Idk what could have went wrong but this was a HORRIBLE disgusting experience.

If your looking for some excellent Barria tacos; try this South Phoenix gem. Chino-Mex, a fusion of Chinese and Mexican featuring some really good Barria tacos. Not much to look at inside although it is kid friendly. I had 3 Barria tacos plate and 2 sides of my choice, black pepper shrimp, and pineapple chicken. They offer 4 kinds of meat: Carne Asada, Carnitas, lamb, and beef. The tacos are to die for, I can't wait to have them again.
CHINO Mex was an awesome experience. A perfect balance of authentic Mexican cuisine with a Asian twist. Good service great food. Our family will definitely come back.
Open and clean dining room. The jalapeño chicken is delicious. Combo meals, best of both foods. Decent condiment bar (chips, salsas, lemons, radishes, cucumbers, chopped onions, etc.) Friendly staff.
I ordered this on Uber Eats and it was absolutely delicious. The birria tacos were very tasty as well as the orange chicken and chow mein. I also ordered a cheesecake boba drink and it was sweet and had a great taste. Can’t wait to order from here again!
Chinese food is decent. Didn't get to try the Mexican food because the wait time was to long. Restaurant seems to be under staffed and poorly managed....
