It’s surprising how one bad experience can undo years of good service, but that’s exactly what happened today.
I’m writing to report one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at any Chipotle location.
Check the recording, I see there are many cameras in this chipotle premise. My order was scheduled for pickup at (12/12/2025) 1:00 PM, yet it wasn’t ready until 1:35 PM. At 1:10 PM, I checked in with the manager and the server, and they clearly acknowledged the delay and asked for five more minutes. I agreed and waited patiently.
Fifteen minutes later, the order was still untouched. When I approached the server again—calmly—to ask what was going on, I was hit with, “Don’t give attitude.” That line alone says everything about how poorly customers are being treated there. Feel free to check your cameras and audio; you’ll hear exactly who showed “attitude,” and it wasn’t me. I had my wife and our 3-month-old baby waiting at the entrance while I was being spoken to like I was the problem.
When the order finally arrived (after an extra 5–7 minutes), everything was crammed into one tiny bag. I had to ask for another bag and the receipt, which took yet another 2–3 minutes.
The entire experience was unacceptable, unprofessional, and frankly disrespectful. Whether it was negligence, indifference, or something worse, the treatment I received should never happen to any customer.

I've never experienced such rude customer service at a Chipotle. It started with the man who began my order — he seemed visibly annoyed when I asked for something specific and showed him my double protein reward. Things only went downhill from there. Two girls toward the end of the line were extremely disrespectful — one even rolled her eyes at me and snapped, “what else do you want on your bowl?” in a rude tone. The cashier had the same attitude, making the entire experience unpleasant.
I left feeling disrespected and honestly shocked. Employees need to realize how their poor attitudes rub off on customers and can completely ruin someone’s day. I strongly suggest management take a serious look at their staff and address how they’re treating people.

You know what you’re getting when you go to any Chipotle, the flavor profiles are consistently spot on no matter which location you visit. What really sets one apart from another comes down to cleanliness, accuracy, and customer service. Unfortunately, the Desert Ridge location lacks all three.
The establishment was in need of a thorough cleaning. The lemonade machines appeared broken and unclean, yet still had juice inside them, which was unappealing. My order was incorrect, and I was charged for items I didn’t receive, in both orders.
The two girls assembling the food seemed annoyed and put off when I politely asked for the missing items. Their cold and dismissive attitude was disappointing. The only bright spot was the young lady at checkout, she was kind, courteous, and had a warm smile both times I interacted with her.
With a half-dozen employees showing little interest in offering friendly service, her positive attitude truly stood out. Unfortunately, unless major changes are made to improve cleanliness and customer service, this will be the last time we visit this location.

We have always loved Chipotle but this location needs to work on quality control. My chicken - more like steamed than grilled, had no seasoning. Guacamole - was 3 avocado slices I had to chop up so I could scoop it. Chips - STALE. Fajita veggies 😱 They used to be lightly sautéd and seasoned. Mine looked like pickled/over-steamed mush. I’m honestly surprised I didn’t get food poisoning. Will never go to this location again even though it’s the closest to me.

I ordered food for my family. Our food was supposed to be ready by 8:10 pm, my husband went to pick up the food about 8:30 giving amble time to prep our order. He arrived & they didn’t even start our order, they made an excuse that they were waiting on the carne asada. He didn’t get home until about 9 pm with the food & when everyone opened their orders I don’t know how but they managed to mess up each of our orders. 3 of the 5 orders had the carne asada which was pretty much nonexistent in each of the menu items. My sons who just like steak, rice & salsa had nothing in his bowl it was sparse to say the least. Then to call the store to try to have them rectify the order is not an option! They make you deal with their automated system until your so irritated that by the time someone gets on the phone you don’t want to hear their excuses especially since they aren’t in the store & can do absolutely nothing for you. The lady kept saying sorry & all I can do is offer you a buy one get one…. Why in the world after messing up my order would I want a buy one get one?!?!?! Chipotle should be embarrassed that this is how they handle their affairs. I will be disputing the charges on my card! Tired of supporting businesses who don’t care about the consumer who keeps their doors open!
