Churn is a go-to late-night destination for artisan ice cream lovers in Phoenix. Located on North Central Avenue, they’re open until 11 PM most nights (and 10 PM on Sundays), making it perfect for satisfying dessert cravings after dinner. Their handcrafted flavors balance nostalgia with creativity, classic butter pecan, seasonal specials, and rotating fruit blends that surprise in the best way. The shop’s ambiance, with retro toys, candy displays, and cozy interior plus outdoor seating, feels fun and inviting. Whether you’re stopping by solo or with friends, the host of flavors, the quality of texture, and the lively evening energy make Churn a standout dessert spot.

All the flavors are like crack. You'll find your one or two preferred flavors, and you'll keep going back for more. One of the best ice cream shops in the valley. I'm addicted to their strawberry and pbj and I believe the other was called Baileys crunch but it's seasonal. They also have another seasonal the vanilla cinnamon honeycomb, it's also so good, really sweet but it's good. I can't not go to Churn at least once a month.

Delicious ice cream shop that operates as an annex to a restaurant. Menu recommendation: try something new and while you're at it compliment a stranger.

The ice cream was wonderful. I had a scoop of chocolate with their marshmallow topping. It felt like I was having roasted marshmallows on top of my chocolate I loved it. My one concern is that one of the cashiers was a little on the cranky side which sort of put a negative spin on our visit but the ice cream made up for it lol

Churn is a nostalgic and inventive dessert spot that truly satisfies late-night cravings! Their house-made, small-batch ice creams, flavors like Madagascar Vanilla, Vietnamese Coffee, and Blueberry Cheesecake, are rich, creamy, and bursting with real flavor. The warm, whimsical decor invites lingering, while friendly staff make every visit feel retro and welcoming. Best of all? This gem stays open late, until around 11 PM, so you can treat yourself after dinner or winding down your evening. Perfect for anything from a solo scoop to a spontaneous dessert run.

Churn is one of the best ice cream shops in the valley. I pretty much get a milkshake every time I go and they are always on point. Kudos to the owner and staff! Check this place out if you haven’t.

Lindsey is like the LeBron of ice cream bro, she knew everything that was good about the menu, she is an ice cream sommelier or whatever it's called, she showed great customer service, 5 stars

Ice cream was good, but it was kind of inconvenient for me that their card reader wasn't working for cards that don't do tap-to-pay.
