Came here to celebrate my dad’s birthday 🎂, food was ok, I ordered the trio mole, I was disappointed.. not the best and was very pricey, I think they try too hard, the carne asada was definitely delicious drinks were ok except having the Cielo Margarita that was extremely expensive $33.00 we paid $66 dollars for it.. I couldn’t believe the size of it was 8oz small glass definitely not worth $66, we didn’t expect and we didn’t realize the price until we got the check.. i honestly felt like a ripoff.. it upset all of us.. definitely not worth it.. and not going back.

I popped in for lunch to grab some tacos and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was, the tacos, rice, and beans were all bursting with flavor! I’m a bit of a Chatty Cathy, so of course I started talking with the lovely ladies working during lunch and told them I’d be back soon with my work friends. Fast forward a week later, and wow the dinner experience was next level. The food? Chef’s kiss! 👩🏽🍳 The presentation alone made my mouth water before I even took a bite. The drinks were perfectly crafted (I had La Calaca — highly recommend!), and they even had live acoustic entertainment that set the perfect vibe for the evening. We even requested to speak to the chef and praised her—she deserves it Huge shout-out to Yenni (y-e-n-n-i) the sweetest, most attentive server ever! 💕 Cielo Rojo, you’ve officially been assigned my end-of-week therapy session spot. I'm SO mad! I've missed out on this great place. The food was to die for! My brother suggested this place. I had the white fish and it was the best fish I've had in a long time. The shrimp plate my brother ordered was so amazing O ordered two more to go. We will definitely return.

We REALLY enjoyed our dinner here. Our waitress was fantastic! I ordered the fried shrimp, and it was delicious. The beer was ice cold, my Oaxacan old fashioned was perfect. We will absolutely be back. I have gone to playa Hermosa for a long time, it's nice to see them growing! I think they are some of the best Phoenix has!

I made a reservation for 7:30 and they called me back after making this reservation to tell me the kitchen is closing early. They close at 10 so this is very disappointing.
