Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers

It's not cold beers and cheese burgers.

They made some good improvements asthetically, food has pretty much stayed the same with a few additions like pizza which is pretty good however, the quality of service and management has just plummeted.

They had a really good staff prior to the change to Arcadia Tavern Jen being one of them and they let a lot of them go. My wife and have tried it twice now and the results are the exact same.

Our 1st trip we just had just ordered the pretzel and a couple of drinks. We got our drinks roughly 10 minutes after we got our pretzel. It was busy so we thought nothing of it. We asked to check out as we had somewhere we needed to be and that took another 10 minutes just to get the check...

Our second trip we ordered a bottle of wine first and then after looking at the menu for a little we ordered a pepperoni pizza and the chicken sandwich. Again we received our food and it just happed the manager dropped it off. He asked if we needed anything and we told him we ordered a bottle of wine before the food and still hasn't come. He said he'd go check on it and promptly returned as the bottle of wine had been sitting at the bar for a very long time. When he came back he apologized for the wait and proceeded to attempt to open the bottle of wine.

Let's just say he was very unsuccessful, not sure if he has ever opened a bottle of wine before... He twisted the wine key all the way through the cork so we got to enjoy a nice bottle with a bunch of little cork pieces in it.

Sad to say we most likely won't be back unless they bring back some of the talented workers they lost.

Drink specials were good. It's always nice to have a place with good drink specials outside of happy hour. It's also nice to find a place that's friendly to soccer fans. Airing Club World Cup and other games and offering drink specials during will actually get myself and our group back there. Only problem was the service was so bad we left to go get food somewhere else after our matches were over.

I usually go here with my son on Tuesdays since kiddos eat free with the purchase of adult entree on that day. I usually get their lunch special and it's always yummy! Service is fast. We've had the pleasure of being waited on by Rain a few times and she's awesome!

Atmosphere is great. Customer service wasn't the greatest.. I had to ask for more soda refill and water refill even though she came by the table and saw that the glasses were empty and were on the edge right next to her.
Also had to get up and ask the hostess to find my waitress so I can get some mayonnaise.
Then the bartender saw me looking around for her again and came over and addressed our needs.

Overall it's a good place for entertainment but the hamburgers for $17, are small in my opinion. My hamburger was extremely salty. Possibly why I went through four glasses of water.
Three of us for lunch just water no appetizers $75 with a $10 tip. Really not worth it seriously.. food that only lasts for 4 to 5 hours before you have dinner. I sure miss the old days of a giant hamburger with french fries and outstanding customer service for no more than $15 a person. I guess those days are gone

Food is just okay and service has never really been that great. If you can’t find parking you should probably just go somewhere else to eat. We got towed parking in a lot next door

We didn't know we were in for a treat!

My kids loved the mac n cheese and said it was the best they'd ever had!
I ordered a Blue Burger, and wow, I was amazed at how delicious it was. Perfect amount of blue cheese. I ordered ranch to dip the fries in.

Someone at our table ordered a gluten-free bun. Unfortunately, we've never had luck with gluten-free buns, and this was one soggy upon receiving. Took the bun off, and the inside food was still great.

Atmosphere is like a family friendly sports bar. We will be back if we are ever in the area!
