Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers

I was in the mood for one of the best hamburgers in town, so I decided to go visit Cold Beer & Cheeseburgers at the cross streets of Tatum & Cactus Rd in Phoenix. In my opinion The OpenPit burger is the bomb. Of course I had to get it with tater tots and barbecue sauce. Tonight I decided to misbehaving and get a little experimental and try this chocolate chip hot skillet cookie which comes with chocolate drizzle and vanilla bean ice cream. Holy smokes I died and went to heaven absolutely delicious 😋

Of all the CBCBs this one is hands down the worst-service at the bar ( if it happens) sucks -the male bartender that what has worked there for a while could care less about you-I will stick with Old Town and Chauncey-those bartenders are super nice

Burgers are like 18 bucks by themselves and you get chips but if you want fries or a salad it's like $2.50 extra so that's like a $20 Burger it was good and it was cooked right but... Tons of TV's

Burgers were unseasoned and dry, fries were soggy, drinks were either too sweet or not sweet enough (Alcohol wise). Really no happy medium. Great service though!

I come here to watch the UFC fights which they have for free. More high quality TV's than I can count, maybe more than 50? They provide what the name says, and do it well. You get a thick 1/2-pound burger and a cold beer and see the fights for free for about $25/person. The place is clean, the food comes out quick, and it tastes good. It's family-friendly too, I can bring my kid and he's not the only kid in the place. The hot wings are very good as well.

Came to celebrate Veteran's Day with my favorite vet. Very short handed today, mgmt concurred but our server was sweet and attentive when she could be. Sliders OK but the gratis burger for my vet looked great. Been here before, and we'll likely be back.

I gave it a four because it looked fabulous and it was very crowded but we never got a seat it was too crowded to sit so we left it was an hour and a half wait

Came in for a beer and had great friendly service. I decided to order the sliders and although I enjoy spicy food, those things tasted like overly salted hot Cheetos that got drenched in overly spicy sauce. I had to take breaks in order to finish them.

Waited over an hour for our food and the restaurant was not busy. Food came out wrong. I asked for a well done burger no pink and it was red through out. Server told me that each restaurant has their own version of well done but did take it off the check. Another of our guests ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. It came out with no buffalo sauce. The rest of the food was sub par. We have been to other CBCB before and never an issue even when busy. We will not be going back to this location.

I wanted to add that after my initial review the GM Robert contacted me and made sure all my concerns were heard and he is using this as a training tool to make sure his staff always lives up to the standards we have been used to at CBCB. I appreciate his throughness in making sure that in the end we were taken care of. Thanks Robert! We will be back!
