Great place, but I got a hateful coffee here last visit. I ordered a cappuccino and got an inch of drink and the rest of the cup was foam. They are great people and usually on point. Bagels are delicious, get the Frankenstein for real.

Very flavorful drinks and yummy food! Had a lavender white mocha latte with their sundried tomato and pesto bodega bagel and was very pleased! The coffee was a perfect pick me up and their food was delicious! Will absolutely be stopping in again to support an inclusive and welcoming shop like this! Loved my visit!

best cafe in arizona , the bodega bagel on a sesame bun is so simple yet so magical also this place is definitely quality over quantity which i appreciate after trying so many bagel places that give me a bagel the size of my head thats never delicious enough to finish. i love the bagel . bagel bagel bagel :D

This is more than a coffee and bagel spot - this is a community space where the workers take the time and care to make everyone feel welcomed and safe. Not only is the atmosphere the best of any coffee spot I've ever been to, but the coffee and the food, especially the transcendent baked goods, are delicious to the max. Expert baristas and flour slangers, the lot of them! Everyone is kind and considerate, and they support local artists, allowing them to sell their wares, and efforts like food drives and community awareness to help inform the community of the ever-changing local landscape. It's truly an incredible space filled by the best people. I am beyond lucky that this is THE coffee spot. Sipping on a perfect Americano as I type this. Thanks for being you, Copper Star.

for context, my partner loves to come and support and we’ll drive all the way across town to indulge. today was our first time actually going inside to order, and we tried to order the breakfast sandwiches. after asking for the bacon one, the cashier said she would ask if they had any, they all just started loudly yelling, “NO” and “HAHA NOPE” in a rude way. like as if it was insulting to even have asked that. it was so overt, that the cashier even apologized and i get we came in late, but we’re understanding. i understand they’ve had a busy weekend maybe but you don’t have to take it out other people, it was very disappointing to be treated like that in public

I tried Copper Star for a bagel sandwich after hearing great things, and while the flavors were good, the bagel itself was too dense and smaller than I expected. The friendly service and cozy indoor-outdoor seating definitely made the visit enjoyable though.
