Disappointed.
After reading recent high praise for this specific restaurant, maybe our hopes were too high.
First, I can't ever recall being ignored at the entrance for 7+ minutes. I well groomed, sharped dress gentleman walk right passed and did not even greet us - he appeared to be in leadership or the owner, we don't know. (The place was packed, lots of folks waiting at their tables for someone to take their orders.)
There was a large group that finally wrapped up and their level of service & conviviality was far different than ours initially.
We dined on the evening of 2/22/26 - looking at the receipt as I am typing this.
Next - The Chicharr贸n Rib Eye was far overcooked, chewy and no kidding - the worst money I've spent good money on I can remember. The Taco trio was OK at best - the carnitas taco was good to great...the others---just mediocre. There you have it - the first poor review I've ever written in this medium - just had to get it out there.
In all fairness - there was a very positive, energetic young waiter that hustled and made great conversation.
Spending $70+ for these 2 items including tip = no bueno
We've had FAR BETTER meals at many places in town for 1/3-1/2 the price.

We came for lunch the other day after my parents had heard about it on TV saying it was one of the top in the country. It is definitely more of an upscale, high end place but we were treating ourselves! All the food on the menu sounded amazing. We had tacos, guacamole, and huaraches. We also had the horchata and coconut-lime drink. All were delicious! The service was great, but it did seem like only one guy was running everything. He answered all our questions and made it a great experience. I just think he could have used some help as it took us a bit to get our waters. Recommend if you're looking for a small fun place for fun takes on Mexican food and some nice drinks.

Hidden gem behind Walgreens. The Pulpo (octopus) was like no other, delicious. Its a must try. The Shrimp Diablo, the Shrimp Ajo, and the Taco Trio all were very flavorful and refreshingly satisfying. Its a seat yourself but the service was great.

Didn鈥檛 tell our group of 6 ppl that they added 20% auto gratuity so everyone tipped twice (at a 40% rate for a subpar meal). pretty poor form and sleazy. server was daniel e. mole enchiladas were pretty bad too

5 stars does not give justice to the amazing service we had yesterday! Found this spot on Tik Tok so decided to give it a try and we're not disappointed! The food was very good had 2 appetizers(bone narrow and por belly) very good and some mixed fajitas. Did Not know it was karaoke night and ended up staying 4 hours. Made us feel right at home was more than a dining experience. The service Luis gave us was exceptional and made the whole night great(recommend a raise). Corazon de Agave won a repeating customer for sure

The waiter is too much too busy or he does not give a good costumer service. He barely paid attention to us. Managment should tell it's personal that service is almost as important as the food. Will come again hoping, I do not get that waiter. My garlic shrimp never tasted the garlic. Churros super great.
