To order, phone the food court, order either cheese or pepperoni, it's ready by the time you drive there. Pay for it at the kiosk with a couple of simple touch screen commands. Or if you're shopping for anything else at Costco, order on the phone or in person as you enter the store, then pay for it as you're checking out at the regular cashier lines as you're buying your other stuff.
Everyone in the food court staff is always friendly, helpful, and seem to be happy to be working there. Many of them have been there for a couple of decades. You won't find that kind of happy employees at nearly any other restaurant or any other place of business.
The pizza is HUGE. It's always cooked perfectly. Good sauce to cheese to crust ratio. Not greasy. Not doughy. Just one size, just one thickness, just two options for toppings (pepperoni or not). Kids love it, adults love it. No trendy kale with smelt roe toppings on low gluten cauliflower crust. Just good old fashioned New York style pizza you have to fold like a taco to eat. Sliced while you wait. Absolutely nothing negative about this pizza deal. Buy one and feed a huge family. Or buy one and feed one or two people for the next several days.
The huge pizza box this eighteen inch pie comes in is bigger than some of the apartments I rented in college. I think I could park my Hyundai in it..;-) The pizza is always hot. That means the bottom of the pizza box is hot. You won't be able to carry it with one hand under the bottom. I take a canvas grocery bag with me to retrieve the pie and use the bag as a sort of hot pan holder under the box to insulate my hand from the heat of this delicious pizza.
