This was our first visit, and while the spot itself is simple, it was clean and a nice break from the heat outside. The food was tasty with fresh ingredients and big portions, though the fries were just okay and the service, while friendly, wasn’t very attentive. I’d definitely come back for takeout to try more from the menu, but probably wouldn’t dine in again.
Today was my birthday, and my Daughter's took me to this spot. I'm not completely familiar with Cuban food, but I've spent alot of time in Puerto Rico and it's similar. Wow the food was excellent. We ordered the empanadas, the plantain cups stuffed with shredded beef, 3 sandwichs, the grilled chicken and onions, I had the masitas de puerco, and the stuffed chicken. OMG it was all amazing. The service was very quick and attentive. I'll be back for sure....
We always go here to celebrate, we have been coming here since it was a real small Mom and Pop place. We are very thankful that the food/service has not changed at all, still delicious!
