Someone just told me the Phoenix Metro location will be closing as of July 30th!!! Bad bad idea. With all that is coming up in that area that location could be hopping and doing a lot of business too all the things around it. Supposedly the owners want to retire and their son only wants to keep Scottsdale location open. Please please let’s all protest this to try to get him to change his mind. This is a great location that will only get better soon..
I made the mistake of coming to this specific Culver's location. It is a mistake I will not make again. For a chain that is considered "fast" food, I do not consider waiting 28 minutes for one combo meal to be given for dine in "fast". And the cashier that I had took 14 minutes to get two orders completed in front of me (I was third in line). If you find this acceptable, then come here. I won't.
Culver's butter burgers are delish. Single, double or triple. Fries good, self-serve drinks. Fish plates are a real meal, sometimes they have northern pike or walleye! The staff is very accommodating. A go-to place.
This visit, it was a double bacon butter burger with Culver's delicious onion rings a d diet root beer. My wife had the crispy chicken sandwich and, her favorite, cheese curds. Yum!
I come here at least 3-4 times a week and usually have a positive experience but today was not okay. I understand if a place wants to close early but leave the front doors unlocked for people to come in and have them wait a few minutes before you tell them you decided to close earlier. It wasn't even a holiday so really no reason to close early. This is one way to lose multiple customers and loyal customers. Not sure I will come back due to this.
Food was good, service was fast and well let's just say either the customers or the employees are honest. Husband accidently left his wallet at the soda fountain and when we went back they had it in the back. Was so relieved for sure! Will visit again!
I was expecting higher quality burger, what I got was equivalent to what I can buy at McDonald's for half the price. It didn't taste any better & the patty was paper thin, could see through it.
Ordered a chocolate malt and strawberry cooler in the drive thru. Had to pull up with a number. They then proceeded to bring the 3 cars that came after us their food and ice cream, as we still waited. Finally I asked one of the food runners if they forgot about us since we didn't even order food and we're still waiting 15 minutes later, to which he seemed quite annoyed for me asking. I won't be back to this location. Must better service at most other locations.
Everything is good or great until you get to the food . . . Their food tastes oddly bland, void of flavor or seasoning. I'm clueless to what Culver's identity is to the food industry but they leave my hungar curved but feeling unsatisfied. Man one time at a different branch I felt nauseous after consuming one of their meals, I went to restroom for that one ?.
Basically, a low-end fast food burger joint that has a lot of options. Very unhealthy food at mid-range prices, in a cheap-80s style atmosphere. And the burger meat is dry, overcooked, even burnt. Great frozen custard, though.

Always appreciated all their freshly delicious food items. Cashier & food tray deliver are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there usually or has been one female when we dine in that chooses to loudly verbally voice her personal events in a most profanity manner. She'll share with other employees. Mind you this has occurred during her work duty and few other customers in attendance. Not a professional manner or friendly atmosphere.
We decided to go inside when we saw the drive up lane. We placed our order and we were given water cups. We waited and after several minutes could see what we thought were our sandwichs on the tray. We could see our sandwichs stay on tray for several minutes as order after order was given out to drive up and Inside. Finally our French fries came up and we got our order. Pretty slow.
Fiance and I came here to try something different after visiting Castles N Coasters. We were tired and sore from being there all day but a little dinner from Culver's gave us the wonderful feeling of comfort food that hits just the right spot. We enjoyed dinner there so much we had to go back for lunch the next day before heading back home. The frozen custard was yummy. We dined in and they were timely with getting our food out and very pleasant. Definitely a must stop by place if you're visiting Phoenix!
I’m definitely a fan of Culver’s but this location seemed to be struggling a bit tonight. I ordered an Oreo cheesecake concrete mixer and several orders (including orders that had mixers) came out before mine. My husband went to inquire and they had for sure skipped over our order. Once my order was complete they apologized and said they had ran out of custard, no biggie. The part for me was that my mixer barley had any mix ins. The bottom of my mixer was pure vanilla and the top had a few speckles off Oreo and I saw no cheesecake. I went and asked if they could just add cheesecake and Oreo to the top of my mixer. The young lady who was at the register was kind but the guy in the back who had to fix it was clearly upset and annoyed that I requested more toppings. He stomped over to where the container was with the Oreos while talking under his breath, poured some on top of my mixer and quickly handed it back to the cashier. He didn’t even attempt to add any cheesecake. As a paying customer it’s already frustrating to not get what you payed for but to have an attitude about fixing your own error is completely unnecessary and unfair, especially after you have made several mistakes.
Parking: Several spots available
Always good food and friendly worker's. My only complaint is that the tables in the dining area are very close together making it difficult to navigate in my wheelchair. Sure, I could stick to using the drive-thru, but sometimes you just want to sit inside and enjoy your meal.
