I didn't rate the food because I didn't get any. The new drive through is slower now than when you had to order at the window. I was in line to order with absolutely no movement for 15 minutes. I left and it was still not moving. Service here isn't as good since the remodel.

Talk about abysmal! The 'restaurant' has serious issues with its sanitation and health standards.

Let's start with the unwelcome guests, the roaches. I was eating at a booth yesterday and I noticed something crawling along the floor right under where I was sitting. I take a glance down under the seat and it was a cockroach the size of my thumb! It wasn't alone either! There were a total of 6 roaches collectively underneath the booth I was sitting in! Absolutely appalling that a DQ restaurant would have such a massive infestation!

Secondly, the state of the store (mainly the ceiling but just about everything in the lobby as well) is beaten to high hell! There are holes in the ceiling where they patched with plywood from the home Depot down the street! How embarrassing and frankly quite abysmal!

I asked an employee (I'm not provide that information for their safety) and they stated "a health inspector came by recently and rated them with a B+!" Which is frankly concerning seeing how THAT'S THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR THE ENTIRE STATE! How in the hell did they let this slide????

The food was good, the ice cream was even better but the state of the interior is frightening! I will not be returning, ever. I suggest you do the same...

Kid-friendliness: It's as friendly as it gets, but you'll definitely want to keep them from touching the floor.

Wheelchair accessibility: I suggest finding a different restaurant, there's loads of uneven surfaces and getting to the door is a nightmare for someone in a wheelchair. Loads of small lips on curbs. Your best bet would be the drive through...

Update my 4 star review to 1 star. Ever since, my guess, new ownership, the quality of frozen treats have gone down. Before, it would stay frozen solid in summer by time I got home literally 3 mins away. Now it's worse then a milkshake when we get home. 3 separate visits in a row same results. Thought it would change each time I went but it didn't. This is the way new owners are going to do business they will lose some business along with mine after being a regular for 15 years.

Unable to give none start. Disgraceful drive thru service. The whatever person in charge, she was awful, bullying the poor young man working with her. She ignored us after ordering, pulling at the drive thru window wait 10 minutes. She placed the headset and walk away.
The customers and emploees deserve a better treatment.
Shame on her.

Dairy Queen was great. The Manager was awesome. She was doing everything by herself. Our DASH driver forgot our drinks, so we went to pick them up. Things went smooth and we were tending to with courtesy and a genuine smile.

Go here almost daily and when I fumbled with gift cards and gave the guy two that had zero left on them, he yelled at me and was extremely rude. Needs to learn patience.

It hurts me to write this bad review because I’ve been coming to this location for 40 years. They’ve made changes and they aren’t good ones. The construction and remodel seem unnecessary, but I guess we’ll see. The friendly cashiers were gone and now replaced with a purple haired girl that has a snotty attitude (not the previous purple haired girl). They also “do not have” chocolate ice cream? That’s what the girl said, so maybe she was just being extra unhelpful if it was simply out for the day. We will definitely stop going if that is a permanent change. There is another DQ closer to us and we won’t go there either.

Update: Hubby wanted to try again. This time, we got charged for 3 Blizzards even though we ordered 2. The 3rd one was literally just chocolate ice cream, nothing else. I would have wanted a refund, he didn’t want to deal with it.
