It's too bad they closed it down. I hope someone takes over and reopens it.

It is small but inviting airport. Busy but not claustrophobic. The night view is gorgeous. I love the patio. Restaurant not open yet due to covid19. Everyone was friendly and informative. I would highly recommend if small plane or want to avoid sky harbor great choice.

Being there brought back memories of when I was a kid and my father flying us around. My dad would have loved all the model airplanes hanging from the ceiling. Was a 30 minute wait for food so we did the buffet instead. The food was cold and not very fresh ? I felt it was a waste of money. On the other hand our waitress was excellent. Also enjoyed going up on the deck to watch the planes coming and going and hearing the conversation between the pilots and the tower. All and all it was good only next time I'll order fresh food.

So salad in picture was half eaten. The salad was really fresh. Burger was amazing. I did not try the frys, but my girlfriend likes them. I have been in az for 29 years, and this is my first time here. I will be back, and for you adults that are kids at heart, it is at the airport, you can see the planes take off and land.

Great environment. Great place to take the kids for a new experience. Friendly staff... Price on the other hand... A bit high for the quality. I don't expect a lot, I really don't... But... I'd expect better than Denny's. ?

I've been here a couple times with my toddlers and they absolutely enjoyed dining and watching airplanes. It's a really fun and unique experience

We go here to watch the planes in the morning but not to enjoy the breakfast cause there's really not much to enjoy. Have tried at least 3 times hoping it will get better. It doesn't. Pancakes and waffles chewy. Scrambled eggs not scrambled, just eggs whipped, cooked flat and cut in little pieces. Hash browns typical. Omelets ok.. Coffee good. Ive been for lunch but only ordered the open salad bar(variety and fresh) but it is not all you can eat unless paying extra. Other reviews love the lunches. Not the cleanest resturant.

Only one star because 0 is not an option. We just left and we were very unhappy. We were there with a regular lunch group after church so there were 9 people (sometimes there are 12 or more). It took over an hour to start getting food and it trickled out. The easiest meal (a hot turkey sandwich) was left to the end and the waitress went in the kitchen to try to prepare it herself because of "issues" in the kitchen. The salad bar quality was bad with limited items, brownish salad and beets that were going bad. They were also out of several items and they were no busier than any other normal Sunday restaurant service. This was not the first time there has been slow service here but we decided it was the last time. This is definitely poorly managed and it's costing yhem business since we are usually a large group. We have been going there for over 20 years and we suggest you find somewhere else to go.

I took my son there on January 13 at 11:30, we sat in the section to the right of the restaurant near the door that leads to the front by the runway. I wish I got our waitresses name because she was amazing. Super friendly, very attentive, went to extra mile and I didn’t even ask for anything. She is super sweet my son and brought him an airplane to put together. Our food was great and came up fast. She checked in on us to see if we needed anything. Towards the end she even brought me I took my son there on January 13 at 11:30, we sat in the section to the right of the restaurant near the door that leads to the front by the runway. If the person knows who she is I scheduled her that day she definitely deserves a shout out! We had the best time and she made it such a great experience waiting on our table, great service and conversation.

Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Plus great views of planes, and the history of the airport. The model planes all over the ceiling are worth seeing

Had our monthly car club meeting at Deer Valley Airport Restaurant today. I did not eat as breakfast is usually not on my "to do" list. The venue is nice and you can watch the small planes take off and land. And that is what most of them were doing today, practicing take offs and landings. The restuarant has model planes hanging from the ceiling which is kind of cool for someone who use to put plastic model kits together as a kid...and use to get glue all over my fingers. The crowd today was mostly senior citizen, including a motorcycle group that was in the same age catagory as my car club. While I did not eat, I did see what was available at our buffet breakfast, scrambles eggs, bacon, sausgage, potatos, pancakes. If I ate that, I would be useless and probably asleep in less than an hour. The crowd seemed to enjoy the food, but it was not the star of the gathering. Talk about our cars and upcoming runs was the highlight of the morning. Oh, yes, the servers were very good and kept everyone filled with coffee, water and other drink choices.
