I have been here a few times for a group meeting. I have had the brisket burrito and it is amazing!
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
I also hired them for a small event - the charcuterie cups were fabulous and the rib cups with smoky Mac-n-cheese were drool-worthy!

Stopped in and got their pastrami sandwich. So delicious! The meat on its own is amazing, and the sauce just adds more wonderful flavors. Will be back again and highly recommend.
Chicken salad sandwich and Mac salad were amazing! Will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in the area. Staff are so kind. Phenomenal service that make you feel like family

We were so excited to try a new restaurant by Moon Valley and love to support new businesses. We walked up the doors to 2 employees standing outside and they welcomed us in and explained the menu and ordering. We were the only patrons there. We ordered the cashew chicken and the Havana sandwich and the potato, southwest macaroni and jalapeño Cole slaw sides. My husband got a drink and wanted the tea and lemonade but it was empty. No biggie. We found a high top table and took in the space. The wood high tops were beautiful but the rest of the space e seemed cold and could use some textiles and texture to warm up the vibe. The food arrived and the sandwiches looked great. Mine served on a wooden platter and the hot Havana Sammie on a griddle. All of the side salads were in clear to go deli containers with the kids on. The Havana sandwich was great tasting. However the chicken didn’t really have much flavor nor did an of the 3 side salads. We couldn’t detect anything but macaroni noodles and diced jalapeño in the macaroni salad. They were all flavorless. For 3 sandwiches and 3 sides it cost $90 on their IG they advertise all sandwiches come with a side. We were hoping for more of a true deli experience and it would be nice to have that ambience.

We are out of towners who popped in to grab a take out lunch - great staff, awesome menu and the Havana Slamma sandwich was delicious! We also tried and enjoyed the jalapeno slaw. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Nice new deli in N. Phoenix. I ordered the half Pastrami sandwich and it was large and quite good. Nice staff and super clean, modern restaurant design.

Great tasting sandwich with high quality ingredients! Loved to unique flavors in the turkey sandwich. Wish it came with chips or a pickle but so happy this deli is in our neighborhood.

Sandwich ingredients were fresh and delicious. Excellent bread, real turkey slices, crispy lettuce, and a smear of fig jam was perfect.

My husband and I have been saying to each other that we wish there was a good and I mean, good Deli near our home. Deli 8:20 opened up not too long ago. Today was my first time in the Deli. Danny was full of energy and was very welcoming as you walked in the door. She had excellent customer service.
She explained the menu, which made you want to order everything. I ordered the sunshine turkey sandwich and fries and it was very delicious. I highly recommend trying this place. I can't wait to come back to try the brisket burger.

Deli 8:20 is an absolute gem in Phoenix. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels welcoming and laid-back, making it a great spot for breakfast, lunch, or a casual bite any time of day. The menu offers a solid variety, with fresh ingredients and generous portions that feel well worth the price. The food is consistently flavorful, clearly made with care, and everything tastes fresh. The bread is excellent, the meats are well-seasoned.
The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient, even during busy hours. Orders come out quickly, and you can tell they value both quality and customer experience.

The staff was so friendly. I don't think I've laughed so hard in a while! It looked like they were having fun, even though they were working hard.
Food was delicious and we will definitely return.
