The guy barista they had about 2-3 years ago was very friendly , and had the best customer service ! I recently went in and noticed two new ladies, the skinny barista and a heavier set cashier. I stood at the cash register and the cashier lady kept taking to the barista who was busy making drinks. Finally, the cashier came over, she wasn’t rude but definitely not friendly and for sure lacks basic customer service skills such as greeting and smiling.
I randomly stopped by while on this side of town and what a GEM of a place. The staff were knowledgeable, informed, patient, and engaging. I had lots of questions (hence the $12 tip 🫣) and they answered every one! And had the best GF banana muffin! Highly recommend!
I had an amazing horchata latte!! 10 out of 10
I'm so happy I found this cafe! A delicious looking food menu, a delightful coffee menu with Mexican inspired drinks. I got the iced Abuelita Mocha and it's AMAZING. I also got the 3 empenada combo, to go, so I can't speak to those yet. Small but comfortable interior for a hang, spacious patio when the weather is nice, alternative milks and vegan food menu options. The 2 women running the spot when I went were gorgeous and industrious as well. They were very busy but didn't skip on giving me info and a smile. Gracias!
Service is great and the overall place itself looks aesthetically appealing, however, for the price you pay I expected a little a more. Coffee was good and the overall indoor sitting was good too, but if you are okay with having a homeless person sit next to you for more than an hour while you work, then be my guest. It became unbearable after the hour while working, I am not someone to judge those by appearances but by smells that’s something I cannot negate. As a paying customer had high hopes for this new coffee shop I had newly discovered; expectations kind of went sideways for me. Thank you.
Super cute shop and the coffee was delicious! The ladies working were sweet, as well. Would definitely make the time to stop by if you’re in the area!
The chilaqulies rojos were really good and the tacos de papa!
My fixer upper! Perfect all the time!! #matchababe
I absolutely love this coffee shop, the food, coffee and vibe an amazing. Not to mention, the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. They’ll even make you a cafe de cuatro leche if you ask nicely! And if you have a tinga for a torta, look no further, this is your spot! Would recommend 10/10 to anyone.
Would return for the unique lattes and breakfast sandwiches.
Stopped in for a coffee on a weekday morning.
Very small place with some indoor and outdoor seating. Aesthetic is girlie-pop pink boho, but shop was filled with dudes. And some remote workers.
Ordered a mazapán latte, which is what the barista recommended. It was well made and unlike anything I’d had before.
I also ordered a paisano breakfast sandwich. It came out quickly and hit the spot. It was easy to eat too—not very messy.
Definitely would come back if I’m in the area!

The couple running it is very nice. My problem here is with the coffee. It's one of those shops using really dark and bitter low quality coffee instead of one of the local roasters in town like Press or Moxie and those processed syrups instead of house made. I felt for the price that they could use better coffee. When I sipped the cold brew the after taste was incredibly bitter. I saw the grinders had residue from not being cleaned and having a very dark french roast.
The breakfast tacos were okay. Reminded me of the "Mexican food" I used to eat living in Colombia and less like the Mexican food I used to eat living in Mexico.
Overall, I'd go here for the atmosphere. Not for the coffee.

A well deserved high rating! We enjoyed a late breakfast with friends on the patio. My warmed cheddar jalapeno scone was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Excellent!
