Dickey's Barbecue Pit dished up some delicious barbecue! The brisket was soft and flavorful, the ribs were nicely smoked, and the side dishes were great. The staff was nice, and the service was prompt. A terrific place for a hearty barbecue lunch. Definitely returning for more!

Got pork ribs no flavor & potatoes casserole tasted just like instant mashed potatoes. Okra was ok. Not worth the price.

I attended a training class where Dickeys catered the lunch. It was the best pulled pork I had ever had. So I went into the restaurant a few days later to try the brisket- absolutely delicious!!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Harry!

I would normally have given this spot a better review but after my experience the other day, I'm having a hard time with even 1 star. On Friday night, I placed an order for curbside delivery on their website and was told it would be ready for pickup at 10 pm. I head down there and arrive by 9:55. I proceed to try calling to advise I arrived since there is no curb side specific parking, but no answer. I proceed to call 6 more times, all with same results. I then go to front door, where I see an employee cleaning, and proceed to knock on glass. Nothing.... So I knock again, but harder and do so for like 2 minutes. The employee acts like I don't exist. So needless to say, I leave there without food and money taken from my account. The following day, call and ask for manager, but told to call later cause he's not there. Try again later, still no manager. Now today I call again, and supposedly spoke to manager. Tell him what happened and I'm told that they will remake my food for me. In order to get refund I may have to wait 3 days. When I say I have no ride to go pick up food and I've already tried that and ended up being wasted trip and time, no apology or nothing , only that they can't deliver. So now, I'm once again waiting for a place that I feel has no empathy for their customers. To only offer me to come get food that I ordered cause I wanted it 2 days ago or to wait 3 days for refund that is mine is absolutely absurd. What about my time and gas spent coming to a place that told me to be there by 10 pm? Why has nothing been offered for that, not even apology?

ordered delivery and I’m absolutely terribly disappointed and upset. this restaurant clearly doesn’t care about to-go orders. The portions were extremely small, there was A LOT of fat left on the sliced brisket, sides were messed up and the rootbeer soda had literally absolutely no syrup?? i don’t understand how they filled the cup & blatantly ignored the fact that there was no syrup? We thought it was sprite when we first seen it. 0/10 experience which is frustrating because when you go in person, it’s really great.

Ordered off the app.

3/4 (chicken, turkey, cup of chili) of the items were not available for my 7pm pick up, I was given a curtesy call.

Cashier offered to switch my meats as if they were doing me a favor, wasn’t rude just was firm.

Apparently the app lets you order chili but they do not serve it during this season.

Low rating not due to app even though it’s not fair to employees that have to explain they don’t sale during certain seasons and my replacement of choice, rib was stale and oily.

But definitely due to lack of service, out of stock product, dirty store, no forks to grab and missing turkey and chicken.

They have a lot of 5 star rating and I believe it’s only due to the sign posted at register that you can get a free yellow cup for 5 star review.

25 $ for 3/4 of the items I want missing.

I wanted to have a tender, juicy, smoky brisket. The meat was not dry, but definitely was under-smoked and very chewy, barely any flavor. The sides carried the meal. Please smoke the meat longer to get the flavor and make it tender. The fat was still solid on my brisket, but it should be translucent and easy to chew.
