Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I placed a large order for my staff on their website. I was called by the DoorDash driver letting me know the order was canceled when he had arrived to pick the order up. I then got a call from DoorDash customer support asking if the store had communicated about the canceled order, to which I informed them no only the confirmation email about confirming my order. Dickeys then called me at 11:25 (my order was due to arrive by 11:30) letting me know they canceled my order due to 90% of the items being unavailable. Which means they only had like 3 items on my order. I went back and forth with the manager about communication and why he had not communicated earlier. Which he did admit to getting in at 9am and remotely looking at orders. Which seems odd to me if you take online orders. Maybe communicate with the customers. I will never order from Dickeys again and I will not recommend them to anyone. The rude customer service and lack of customer service is appalling.

Always good food. Although you can tell this one is not run well and they are a bit short on cash and it shows.

Hope they can find a way to get more business soon.

I was really disappointed with this location. The food was cold, the brisket was plain and chewy, and the chicken was way oversalted. To top it off, I paid $160 for this! I used to love the North Scottsdale location, but this one is just not the same. Definitely not worth the price. Won’t be coming back.

Ordered online, they didn’t include any of our sides, missed sauces, and their sandwiches are incredibly small for the price you pay.

The place is absolutely disgusting, I’m talking from looks to smell, to service. The suposeable manager got mad because I took my 2 year older daughter to the restroom while waiting on our order, then proceeded to say he would not serve me the food I had already paid for, nor would he give me a refund. I had to call the cops in order to even get a refund, as he proceeded to say I was stealing for filling up my cup I paid for with water. 0/10 stars if I could

I unfortunately will have to give this a negative review. I understand they are under new ownership, but i don't think they are going to be open in 6 months. They have this very young kid as their GM, and the staff seems apathetic at best about their job. I came into an empty restaurant, no was even upfront when I walked in, and the girl working barely said 3 words to me. Like she didn't even want to talk. It's quiet as a ghost town in here, no music playing at all. It feels as if you are unwelcome the moment you step inside.. their display of chip varieties is also hilarious. It looks like a gradeschool art project, if you know what I mean. I was served possibly the coldest and fattest brisket I've ever had in my life. Don't order food from this location if you value anything edible..

I ordered just a sandwich online. I arrived to pick it up, and there was just one employee in the evening, struggling to keep up with online orders and walk in customers, so of course everyone was waiting for their orders. Absolutely not her fault, I gave her 5 stars for effort. Also, this location was just dirty, the floors, everything. My food was not good, did not taste fresh and upset my stomach, never again.

they were out of everything except for pulled pork today. The food came out cold. I took one bite and handed it back and asked for a refund.

Ben the general manager refused, they said they will remake it. I asked them for a gift certificate in the same amount so I could come back another day when the food is better. He said no and offered a free sandwich coupon. I told him the website refund policy states that if it’s not eaten, it can be returned for a refund, and he said the website doesn’t apply to him because he’s a franchise and he can do whatever he wants. I go to the other locations all the time. I wasn’t asking for free stuff, just my money back for food I didnt eat. (Photo below)

Good barbecue, but there is so sauce station or ice cream like most locations. Have to ask the cashier for more sauce. No waffle fries either.

Recently went back in to Dickey's in Bell Towne Plaza. Was met by Lupe, who has taken care of me each time since the location re-opened. Not only was she delightful to speak with, she prepared my order PERFECTLY! My baked potato was so delicious, and so filling, that I couldn't even touch my Green Beans or Mac 'n' Cheese! Phenomenal reheated later on! Too bad for all the people who leave negative reviews (and probably DON'T tip) and won't go back because it closed for a bit. Go ahead and stay away! Dickey's is a happy place with GREAT food and WONDERFUL servers!

I called to place a pick up order. Was told they dont do phone orders i have to download the app or go online. Download the app and continue as a guest. Picked out what i wanted and added to cart. Proceed to checkout and the app wont allow me to enter credit card info. It is ok though! Because im now gonna go check out what i can get for $70 at the bbq place, the same distance from my place just in the other direction. 2 star because i didnt even get to try the food but thats no way to be inviting people to take their money for food. Bad form Peter.

Brisket sandwich was delicious! and the green beans were way better than any green bean I’ve ever had only chose them because they’re the healthiest side option they have and they did not disappoint. the guy behind the counter was very polite and accommodating as well 10/10
