Dicks Hideaway is one of my favorite restaurants in all of Phoenix. Every birthday my bestie and I treat each other to brunch, literally 10 years strong with our annual July and November birthday brunch at Dicks. From the ambiance to the food, this place will NOT disappoint.

Been to Dick's Hideaway countless times, part of the Richardson's restaurants including Richardson's and Rokerij that are just north on 16th. Menu is spectacular. Honestly, close your eyes, put your finger somewhere on the menu and you won't be upset. That said, I always gravitate back to the carne adovada & eggs.

The food here was excellent. The atmosphere was fine, a bit too dark to see anything. I like romantic lighting as much as the next person but when every guest has to use the flashlight on their phone to read the menu it might be too dark. Slightly bigger or brighter candles on the tables could be a possible solution.

This place had such a cool and unexpected vibe for being in a strip mall. Inside, it’s dark but cozy, with plenty of seating and a full bar. The food portions are massive and full of New Mexico-style flavor the burrito and eggs Benedict were both delicious, and the drink options are great too.

Delicious and excellent service! Loved our dinner there. We enjoyed the smash burger, the caesar salad & the pappardelle. All three were fantastic and I’d order them again, but there were many other things that sounded great, too. We will be back.
