We dine at Differnt Point of View many times every year, and celebrated our wedding anniversary with them again annually yesterday since arriving in AZ 19 years ago. Though the food was great and the service as impeccable as always, our usually excellent experience was tainted due to the very loud “F” expletive conversation of the table next to us. Was like sitting at a sports bar with the patrons are getting drunk ! The restaurant manager did her best to resolve but that table ruined our anniversary dinner ! Makes you consider future changes
The food was outstanding. Make sure to eat dessert because the pastry chef makes amazing things! The view of the city lights makes the experience romantic! Outstanding service!
Went for our anniversary, ordered the gnocchi, beef tartare, filet mignon with mashed potatoes, and for dessert we got the red velvet cake and creme brûlée. Gnocchi was the best. I requested a table by the window for the view and got it, no complaints there. The view was beautiful, it wasn't full when we got there so it wasn't too loud; got louder the later it got. Service was perfect. Rating wasn't 5/5 just because of the main plate really.
Our table was fantastic as was our server. My entrée of Seabass was delicious with cauliflower. My husband‘s entrée of pork tenderloins and Boursin cheese potato cake were dried out, and unfortunately, he couldn't eat all of it. We always enjoy going to a different point of view, but were surprised at how disappointing his entrée was. Maybe an off night?
I thought this was amazing. I will come back the next time I'm in Phoenix. From start to finish everything was amazing and the view is to die for! Def go check it out and ask for Nicholas to be your waiter cause he's honestly great!
Absolutely gorgeous views, excellent food, and impeccable service! Can't wait to return on my next visit to Phoenix.
Outstanding service by Nicholas. Our food was outstanding. The views were spectacular & I ended my birthday celebration on an excellent note. Thanks to all....
Everything was excellent aside from one of our steaks being overcooked slightly. The ambiance, service, location and view were all spectacular!
The entree section was limited and the food itself was very bland. My server did not know the special of the day. We had to wait for menus after we were seated. There were multiple times when we ran out of water and waited a long time for refills. We requested a window seat and received a beautiful view. We also mentioned that we were celebrating our 3 year anniversary in the reservation and it was not mentioned. Water was spilled on the table during refills. There was no crumbing in between courses, so our table was dirty. The bread was good. My partner and I (table of 2) were charged a large party fee and gratuity was already included. I was extremely disappointed, the only good part of the night was spending time with my partner. The two worst restaurant experiences I've had were both at Hilton properties. There are so many more wonderful spots to celebrate in the valley. This spot is probably better for drinks with a view.
It was a perfect night to celebrate my husband and my daughter for their birthdays. We have always wanted to go there and we finally did it! It was so worth it. The staff were fantastic and they cleaned our tables right way after every meal. We loved everything about it.

Good table service with okay food. The location is tired. No valet parking for a higher end restaurant that is precariously place on the side of a mountain is less than 4 diamonds.
Different Point of View in Phoenix offers a truly wonderful dining experience. The views are beautiful and create a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere from every angle. The service was exceptional, and our server, Nicholas, made our visit unforgettable. He is an Italian gentleman with an amazing personality—friendly, professional, and very attentive. Nicholas provided outstanding service and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Great views, excellent service, and a fantastic overall experience. Highly recommended!

We chose DPV for our anniversary celebration and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Watching the sunset from that height was absolutely stunning and made the evening feel very special. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. The ambiance added a perfect touch and made the whole experience even more memorable. Truly a great place for a special occasion.

The ladies up front were pleasant and polite. It seems the gal who goes up and down the stairs all night does more work than the wait staff, and I don’t think she gets tips. The fact that it doesn’t appear they offer iced tea, or even soda is strange. The bread was stale. My filet mignon didn’t taste like it had any seasoning. And they don’t give you so much as a salt shaker at the table. Then the check came. It was a party of two, and my waiter added a $37 tip, without asking, saying it was a gratuity added automatically. However, their menu states parties of six or more will have a gratuity added, and my party was two. I will not be back. The food was a let down, and I DO NOT appreciate my waiter deciding what his tip will be. The food is also weird. I’m sorry, but I don’t want mashed plantains with pork. It seems the chef doesn’t know what he or she wants the restaurant to be. I’m sure they are driven to create fine dining, but what the restaurant offers is weird and unappealing.
