Been wanting to go here for quite some time, and it didn't disappoint. Nostalgic 60-70's atmosphere, beautiful views, perfect location, great service and cozy vibe. I do wish they played more of the genre of music for the style of place . Great light bites and adult beverages in theme of the times. A must try!

Stopped by this rooftop bar purely from seeing their sign. I was not impressed. It’s a small rooftop and does not have much seating. We realized there wasn’t really a spot for two to sit. But the weather was perfect so we wanted to be outside. I walked into the bar and asked if I could order a drink and stand outside. The bartender was unfriendly and rude. She immediately denied my request and said there was a server outside so if I wanted a drink I would need to sit and wait for her. When I expressed there wasn’t ample seating, she just stared at me. The second bartender said he could get me a drink but even then was not friendly. Being a bartender myself, I was immediately put off. Personality is everything in my opinion. Being friendly and helpful while preparing a cocktail that literally takes 5 minutes is the least you can do. Very disappointing! Don’t be duped by the sign. Go somewhere else and scratch the rude service and subpar view.

They have no consideration for the surrounding neighborhood. They play extremely loud music past midnight. Headphones on, fans on and still base can be felt and heard.

My stay hasn’t been the best here, and it’s my first time here. I went to the roof top Don Woods and the waitress Isabelle or Isabella had the worst attitude and demeanor. I asked for the expresso martini and she gave me water as well. I asked for a straw and lemon for the water and she immediately had an attitude and threw the napkin across the bar table to me. After that, she took the menu, I actually wanted to order food. I notice she was very accommodating and nice to someone else sitting next to me. I was literally sitting there for 15 min, before I asked for my tab. I will not be back. Also, my hotel room shower is not hot at all, it’s lukewarm at best. I plan to dispute further.

2024 Update: Well... one thing that seems to be consistent is the lack of consistency. Smaller menu, less intersting drinks and atmosphere is just bleh now.... surrounded by gentrified high rises that take away the niche.2021This place is always a winner if your in the Uptown area!Classic cocktail place with a solid menu and even better rooftop view. The lounge is also nice with a great 60's deco look. Very FLW inspired with the color and scope so if your into that post-modern theme you are in the right spot!Ohh yeah, they also have some of the best classic cocktails around. They have all the classics you would expect and a solid spirit selection to meet your specific requirements. I love the highball section for a more refreshing take, but they also have Spritzers and a regular bar. However, I am a liquor person so I tend to stick with the classics and they do not disappoint! I do need to hit up that spritzer section one of these days...they do look good.I cannot forget the bar snacks. They have a classic and light bar snack menu that almost makes up for dinner if you forgot...no not really, but it does satisfy and will get you to a proper meal no doubt...maybe at Lylo. I tend to stick with the chips and dip, sounds basic but it always hits the spot... however I always end up getting dessert here, its one of the few to have an excuse for .... One more for the road...I won't say when, but I will say best happy-hour so far in the area if you like low key and good drinks! Keep it up!

Cute retro bar with cute decor, nice views, and decent drinks. Drinks are a bit overpriced. Service was okay. We did not try the food.

Some light bites to nibble on but you're really here for the craft cocktails produced by their expert mixologist. Friendly service with focus on serving you the finest cocktails. They have a nice wine and beer selection as well. Cozy atmosphere that is great for a small group of friends or just to hang out and make new ones. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Nice views of the city and did I mention the hand crafted spirits! Give this place a try-open Thursday through Monday.

This is a lovely place to grab a drink with friends and enjoy the ambiance + sunset from a rooftop setting! For parking, there is plenty of parking in the lot for the Rise Uptown Hotel, and the bar is located on the third floor of the hotel building. When you walk out to the sidewalk next to the hotel, there are signs that point to an elevator to take up to the third floor. Seating is available indoors and outdoors, and I was able to get seated very easily on Sunday at 5pm. The waitresses were very attentive, and I appreciated the good service. I decided on the baked goat cheese and Alameda. The baked goat cheese came out quickly, and the lentils were very creamy and paired well with cheese + bread -- definitely recommend getting it! The Alameda was refreshing and tasty with predominant flavors of cucumber and pears. Most of all, I loved getting to kick back and watch the colors of the sky change.Overall, I would love to come back to have a glass and bask in the atmosphere again.

Loved this place! Can't wait to go back and eat there! We stopped by for a quick drink before dinner and it was great! The service was prompt, we were able to get in, have a drink and get out in a jiff! And wow the view is amazing! So glad it was on our way and we had the chance to try it out!

Say When is an absolute delight to have in Phoenix. It's a nice escape from Downtown without having to drive all the way to Scottsdale. I like coming here after dinner just to hangout with friends and grab drinks. The ambiance is laidback but refined. Don't mistake a laid back vibe for poor service. The servers here really know their stuff and will make sure you're taken care of properly. Avoid coming here if you're hungry, it's food menu is extremely limited and will make a dent in your bank account. Just come here for drinks and great views of the Phoenix skyline in the background.
