Got food for a to go order. Really liked the inside of the restaurant, everything seemed promising until it was time to eat. Kung pao chicken, sweet and sour chicken, House chicken, and vegetable mein were all very very very bland. No spice at all. Pretty disappointed with the whole meal.

The restaurant has a very old vibe and very quiet but Decent food. We, a family of 3, stopped by on a weekday evening for dinner. We had sizzling rice soup, shrimp kung pao , snow pea vegetable, and fired rice and all 4 dishes were decent. Cons: the tea was terrible like it was old. I asked for a new one but it came out the same, no flavor and no tanning.

Our family had Christmas Eve dinner at the neighborhood Chinese restaurant , Dragon Palace at 32nd St. and Thunderbird. Christmas Eve as is with any restaurant on Christmas Eve is always busy and Dragon Palace was no different. We were seated not long after we got there, but to our dismay, we were seated at a table with a dirty tablecloth and dishes scattered around the table, we didn’t know whether they were clean or dirty. We removed the table cloth ourself and had to ask for another. My daughter went to sit in her seat, and the chair broke. I had to pull her out of the chair and neighboring tables brought her a new chair and asked if she was OK . No one who worked in the restaurant came to her and asked her if she was OK. I know they were all busy so I told them that her chair broke and again no one offered a apology nor inquired as to whether she was OK. The food was brought to our table one entree at a time with long intervals between delivery to the table instead of bringing out at the same time. All in all it was not a good experience for Christmas Eve and I think that was the straw that broke the camels back for me, considering how rude and uncaring the staff and owners were I will not be eating in this restaurant again. My advice to the owners is stick to lunch and on busy holidays stick to take out. It is obvious that you can not handle servicing so many people.

Are you looking for comfort foods? This place hits the spot. I used to live in the neighborhood and would make this a must have 2 times a month.. I moved across town and dont get to visit as much but they still greet me the same. The owners are sweet as pie and the food is super yummy. Everything I have ever tried is bomb. Priced right too. You should totally give them a chance!

I’m going to give it a star, because here on Google it says that the restaurant is open until 10 pm, busy hours, and it turns out that they close it for two hours between lunch and dinner. I came from so far away to try the food, and it turns out that they don’t have the delicacy to set the schedule correctly so that people don’t waste time coming, if it’s closed.

Staff were rude and seemed annoyed when asking for stuff . Food tasted gamey and the meat was tough

Dragon Palace is absolutely amazing! The portions are huge, the food is consistently delicious, and it feels good to support a true neighborhood staple. They’ve been around for decades, and it shows in the care they put into every meal. Ken and his wife Wendy are wonderful people who make you feel like family every time you order. I try to order once a week to show support. They’ve managed to survive through tough tough times i.e economic down turns, covid etc. A real gem in the community—highly recommend!

Still just as good 20yrs+ later! Shrimp fried rice is amazing so is the egg drop soup and every entrée. I always get the sautéed happy family but we had a party of 15 and I tried everything we got. One of my favorite restaurants and if I didn't live in Montana now I'd still go there a couple times a month like we used to

Very cute oriental restaurant, love all the ornate pictures & dragons in the place.
We went for the lunch special & wow they give you a lot of food.
I had the chicken broccoli & changed my fried rice to steamed.
Was delicious. You are also given egg drop soup which is really good & an egg roll.
We were all stuffed when we left & needed boxes to take home left overs.
Probably most will eat it all but as I've aged, I can't eat as much.
Very reasonable pricing.
Will visit again when we're in the area.
Best Chinese we had since leather Bay Area of California.

I always feel welcomed there, dining alone, with my family or for take out. The food is more authentic and tasty than some of the bigger names and you are definitely getting you money's with with the prices.

Another delicious meal from Dragon Palace. House Special beef was so tender. Received a mountain of shrimp fried rice and the egg rolls are always a delight.
