First time here from a recommendation by my dentist. I was excited from looking at the reviews, photos, and menu. It was so disappointing once I came to have lunch today. I had the (full) duckling sandwich $12.99, 8oz coleslaw $2.89, fountain drink 24oz $2.99, and Kettle Chips 2oz bag $2.39… with two free pickles. The sandwich was good quality, but skimpy on the portion of meat - see photos. The coleslaw was dry; and not creamy at all. The chips and pickles were enjoyable. Everything served ‘To Go’ in a bag. You find your seating. There seems to be enough inside, and far more outside — nice to see the weather improving for outdoor dining. Mind people who are in the way unsure of where to stand while waiting for their order. Bathrooms are in a separate facility accessed out the back… turn right, turn right, and turn left. They’re clean. Keep the lights on so the fan/AC continue to run. Parking is a challenge. A lot of spaces marked Reserved for Copenhagen and DXL… so many that it’s ridiculous. I parked a good distance in the Target ? parking lot. There’s a lot more to D&D — novelties, cheeses, sausages, breads & crackers, wines, etc. There’s a separate room for sampling(?) and drinks. I don’t know if I’ll return. Try them and see for yourself. I was disappointed in the serving portion of the duckling, and the coleslaw could be creamier.
Parking: An insane amount of Reserved parking spaces for Copenhagen & DXL. I’m a customer of DXL and have never seen more than 6 customers at one time. Unsure of Copenhagen as a business. It’s ridiculous having to park so far away…

Overrated. I decided to give Duck & Decanter another try but both times the bread has been really dry and the deli meat is drowned out by other flavors. The first time I had The Fiery Italian and it was fine but not amazing. The second time I tried The Duckling and the amount of cream cheese drowns out any other flavor. Do not recommend.

A busy spot depending the time of day. Fresh food made right there, reasonably priced, friendly service. Great cookies with plenty of side options ? even some light grocery goods. A local place that always delivers quality.

Writing this place off as they seem incapable of creating a sandwich based off someone’s order. You’re lucky if the bread is fresh and then it’s a gamble if you get the sandwich you order. Example: you order a ham sandwich and you get a turkey one. Or you order a toasted sandwich and you get a cold sandwich.
This my favorite place for lunch!! The friendliness of the staff is contagious. Love the outside areas that are spread around the building.

I met my family here for lunch on Thursday afternoon. This tucked in little hideaway was such a hit. It was all of our first time at the restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, tasty, and was made in a timely manner. We topped off our lunch with a few delicious cookies and purchased some items from the downstairs store. We will definitely be back.
